kenny chesneys new one and his one before that are pretty good
the new Josh Gracin album is actually really solid from start to finish
Brooks and Dunn of course
Toby Keiths new one
Brad Paisleys songs, most of them are good, real good
and finally my 2 favorites Joe Nichols because he has funny songs such as 'tequila makes her clothes come off' and then darryl worley because hes a down home guy

All Brad's stuff is pretty good. I would also recommend Keith Urban. It's not as "country" and therefore might not be as much of a shock to listen to for a person who has never listened to country.

^^if you don't like George Strait then you have no business listening to country music

there's a reason he's called "King George"

can't go wrong with Big and Rich or Gretchen WIlson.

There's a reason they're called FUCKING AWFUL and they make my ears bleed.

*Robert Earl Keen and *Charlie Daniels Band are probably my two favorites of all time

George Strait
Alan Jackson
Hank Williams Jr
*Travis Tritt
David Lee Murphy
Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings
*Steve Earle

* denotes more rockish sounding music that might be a good starting point for a new country fan
