The DSL is connected directly to the host with a USB cable. The computers are networked through a Compaq Ipaq CP-2E. The internet is fine on the host but the second computer is struggling. It's really odd, google loads fast and searches fast, even pulls up images fast but the page will not load (shows no error, just continues to "think") when you click on a link or type an address in the address bar.

Help please! Thanks.

you might want to use a CAT-5 cable instead of the USB

my router and modem troubleshooting guides always put the CAT-5 cable above USB connections

Sounds like somebody is using an Alcatel SpeedTouch USB DSL modem.

I hate 'em. No choice to use Cat 5 ethernet cable. No provision to do so. But DSL is still the limiting factor @ 1.5 Mbps...even USB 1.1 is 12 Mbps.
