When we are in trouble there have been many counties that are offering help and aid, in not only monetary funds, like teachers, medicine etc.

Rice said we won't be turning any aid down, but it seems that we have disregarded russia's and venezualas(sp?) help.

Are we that caught up in our image as being the dominant country in the world that we can't take help, when we need it?

i didnt know that we had turned down venzuala's but i knows russia's, and it somewhat makes sense. they offered, if im not mistaken, actual military personal, its usually not a good thing to allow actual military personal on your soil... i assume if it was money it would of been taken. and i bet if you added up the money we have gotten from around the world it would be but a few million, which is nothing compared to what we need and what our own people, and gov't will fork over in the end.
