I dug up my old Wing Commander 4 CD's the other day and was wondering if there was anyway to emulate a Windows 95 or DOS environment to run the install/application file. I have tried right clicking and switching the compatibility mode to Windows 95 as well as running in MS-DOS prompt. Both ways cause a blank screen that goes away when I hit enter. Any other ideas?

Go there for any/all information related to Wing Commander ... they've done a lot with fan projects and whatnot. http://www.wcnews.com/news/showupdate.php?id=6042 shows how to get the games to work with DosBox and any incompatibilities.
