I purchased something online using paypal. The amount has been debited from my account and credited to the seller. The product was supposed to be just links to downloadable CDs. The confirmation said links would be emailed in about 5 or less hours. It has been 8 days. I emailed the seller 2 days after the purchase. No answer. Then after another 3 days giving them an ultimatum. No answer. What should I do? Since I am outside the US, I would rather not spend money calling to get just $25 back. Anything I could do online? Thank you.BTW, the seller is not an individual, but a company with a website. And I know for a fact that the company hasn't gone defunct because there were a couple of changes to the website that I noticed on two different viewings.

did you do your research before buying? sure it's not a scam?

call your credit card company and say you didn't get it. they'll reverse the charges. you did fund this purchase from your credit card, right? paypal of course would prefer it if you funded all of your transactions from either an existing paypal balance or by direct withdrawal from your bank account (in either case they pay no fees to the credit card company). regardless, i fund all of my paypal purchases with a CC. maybe now you will too...

there [i]may[/] be a way that you can retract the funds through paypal....however, i think there may be some stipulation as far as whether or not you requested coverage of the transaction or something.....check with paypalor ill call the company if you want me toshoot me a PM

since papypal specifically states it cannot and will not investigate transactions for non-physics goods such as money purchased for online games (gold for WoW, etc.) or downloaded software/information, you're screwed.
