I just did that for my honda V6 and MPG went from 22 to 25 (consistently).Seems strange, but I haven't done anything else to it.

seotaji, care to elaborate? my gf has a '99 v6 accord w/ semi shitty gas mileage. ill give that a shot

just get rid of the egr and cats while you're at it
8/29/2005 11:37:59 PM
cleaning the egr so that it actually can circulate exhaust back into the cylinders and displace oxygen and gas will always net better mileage.. I don't see why this is strange

excellent. i will do this
8/31/2005 7:03:57 PM
with fuel restrictions being suspended temporarily... can we relieve our vehicles of the EGR and the cats and all the other emissions crap ... "temporarily"?
8/31/2005 9:40:18 PM
yeah, if you want worse gas mileage.
