The Bible. Everything I ever needed to know i learned from the Bible. I never knew you took the GREs ZiP. Cool.

I used Barron's and the practice tests that I was sent after I registered. I thought they helped a lot.

just read normal books and looked up the words i didn't know . . .not the best way to pull up the verbal score--still got into grad school though

its all program relative....obviously you want the highest score you can getbut some programs will let the one slide for higher scores on teh othersome need a good balace

Kaplan>>Princeton ReviewI took the $800 Princeton Review 6-8 week class at Meredith College and my score DROPPED!I then bought the Kaplan book along with a pack of verbal flash cards and my score went up by 300 pts.

I borrowed a book from a local library and studied it for about 3 hours. When I got to the test center, I quickly learned that the analytical section was now in essay form. Oops.1300 / 6.
