8/25/2005 1:26:45 AM

8/25/2005 1:39:59 AM
fiber makes your shit softer.
8/25/2005 1:40:59 AM

AND THE LADIES LOVE IT
8/25/2005 1:45:37 AM
another reason i'm curious about fiber is that i'm gonna detox for a week or 2 and see how it goes so i figure with more fiber i can flush out some toxins and shit
8/25/2005 1:49:16 AM
fiber makes it solid. i had a stomach virus a month back and they told me to eat 2-3 bowls of high fiber cereal everyday till my "stools" became bound up or more firm.

Don't introduce 100% of your fiber RDA at once or your body will not like you. ;p
8/25/2005 10:12:21 AM
What you need is an enema.
8/25/2005 10:20:55 AM
lots of fiber will give you the runsbut the whole "detoxing" thing is fucking stupid
8/25/2005 10:21:45 AM
Insoluble fiber will make your poop runny. It can't be digested and will pass through your system moving other foods with it.If you want to firm it up, eat cheese (unless you are lactose intolerant), peanut butter, or lots of meat.
8/25/2005 11:54:22 AM
but the whole "detoxing" thing is fucking stupid
8/25/2005 11:55:48 AM
^^^With all your health problems, a little detox might be a good change for your lifestyle.^^No. Insoluble fiber is insoluble in water. Makes your poop stiff. Soluble fiber dissolves in water to make a gelatinous like poop.[Edited on August 25, 2005 at 11:58 AM. Reason : ^meh]

8/25/2005 6:46:53 PM
your gi tract is going to be hurting for a while until it's used to the extra fiber. try kashi crunch cereal (actually taste good compared to the cat food that is regular kashi)
8/25/2005 7:05:25 PM
8/25/2005 7:23:56 PM

8/26/2005 6:14:09 PM
i'm about to eat about 3.5*6 grams of fiber with some pork and beans
10/2/2005 3:18:16 AM
why didnt you just say 21g?i love me some fiber 1 cereal
10/2/2005 8:17:54 AM
you shouldn't be eating 21 grams of fiber at one sitting, unless you are an exception and your body is used to it.
10/2/2005 6:10:56 PM
it's not going to hurt him
10/2/2005 7:42:11 PM
Might make him miss class.
10/2/2005 7:43:57 PM

10/2/2005 7:51:01 PM

10/2/2005 7:51:40 PM

Fiber makes you poop.
10/3/2005 11:52:23 AM
^^ i told you!on a 3 meal a day diet:up to 10 grams fiber/meal, + 5-10 grams fiber from healthy snackson a 6 meal a day diet:up to 6 grams fiber/meal (you won't feel the need for snacking on such a diet)
10/3/2005 1:57:19 PM
sometimes a big bowl of oatmeal will get me a watery consistancy...
10/3/2005 2:26:55 PM
^^def. the worst mistake in the past year
10/3/2005 4:09:31 PM
indigestible fiber provides bulk in your intestine. this bulk creates pressure on the intestinal wall stimulating peristalsis, which moves everything along a bit faster (not diarrhea). hard stools are the result of a slow intestine which causes more water to be absorbed.fiber is a good thing.oatmeal is soluble fiber (like a gel). wheat bran is insoluble.[Edited on October 3, 2005 at 8:31 PM. Hey drunknloaded, way to get a whole bunch of people to follow your bowel movements over the course of a few months. Truly brilliant. To the rest of you, I hope you look back on the Fall semester of 2005 with regret.
