Office XP != Office 20032003 gives you 3 licenses to install on up to 3 PCs.XP, which she has, does not. You will have to uninstall Office XP from your PC and then install it on your laptop.

Uninstall it on the old one. Then install it on the new one. When it prompts you to activate Office (the first time you use it) try calling the customer service number. They hooked me up when I tried it.

The license may state that it allows only one installation, but I've installed the same license on at least three computers without any problems.
