My computer came with a -dvd drive-cdrw drive (burned tons of cds with it)i bought an internal dvdrw drive-took out said cdrw drive-put in dvdrw driveNOW...(i use Nero), it registers an "image burning cdrw" device, which is cool for DVD burning usage, but when I burn a cd, it goes through this image saving process and ultimately, even though nero says burn process complete, the cd won't play.SO...-took out dvd drive-put in old cdrw driveand NOW it won't even recognize the Cd-rw drive...it just says its the dvd drive that i originally had.HELP PLZ

It's probably a driver issue. Make sure the proper driver are installed for the proper drive. Reinstalling or updating NERO might help as well. As usual, google in a valuable resource. I'm sure you're not the first one to have this problem. BTW, why not run all 3 drives? No room?

yeah.. you'll probably want to uninstall the drivers, and as of right now you'll probably want to uninstall all the drivers to the cd-rw and dvd-rw and start againjust go to your control panel, click the system icon, hit the hardware tab and go to the device manager.. (assuming XP)remove the old and it should auto-install a new driver after a rebootmight fix the burning issue, might not, but it probably will atleast make the drive work again
