Can access MAC shares from XP computer. But trying to connect to XP share via MAC gives me - User name password incorrect.

Tried via SMBclient -d4 gave me some shit about NT_LOGIN_FAILURE..WTF.

I've never had that problem, but when I try to connect to XP from my Mac I keep getting an error saying that the original alias cannot be found

sharing works fine both ways, from mac to XP and from XP to mac. The issue is most likely the password in your keychain is incorrect or you need to update your keychain.

I have been able to get SMB shares to open in Tiger no problem.
