restart everything. restart the computer and turn off the printer and turn it back on as soon as the computer reboots. Damned things are weird sometimes. Try that.

It sounds like clogged printer heads. The cheaper epsons (and epsons in general) are infamous for it.

Also, make sure you are using the right type of ink cartridges for your printer, this can cause this problem.

You will probably spend a lot more on ink cartridges that you paid for the printer. I would recommend for the future to purchase a laser printer (black ones are cheap, Samsung and HP make reasonably priced color ones). The cost/page to print is significantly lower than ink jets.

You can also clean the ink heads manually too, but AFAIK, it's not an officially supported procedure.

holy cow

i'm having the exact same problem as we speak with a c80

that's funny

i'm just going this weekend and buying a new printer, cause it did this once last year and it just randomly started working, but i'm not going to try and figure it out again.

I rebooted, I reinstalled drivers, I've gotten new ink cartridges, and I've cleaned the printer heads so many times I should see my reflection in them

whatever

I am an HP Sales rep, come into BB @ Crossroads and ill get you what you need. I might be able to get you $20 off if you come in next weekend.

HP has individual print heads on each cartridge. Most other manufacturers have print heads that are not easy to replace by the avarage consumer. HP stands out here in that if the print head has clogs or needs to be replaced you simply replace the cartridge.
