^bah... the charger was a coupe of massive proportions whose modern equivalent would have 4 doors, the challenger was a coupe of actual coupe proportions today. If and when the challenger happens, that one better have 2 doors. I wouldn't be surprised if the challenger replaces the stratus though.... which means 2 and 4 door bodies.... hopefully not fwd..... that'd be a shame....V the challenger is gonna happen. Nobody knows what its going to be though. Some people think the firepower is as low as a chrysler sportscar should go, and that'll happen in 2007 or so for corvette money... I honestly expect the next stratus to be rwd, maybe off previous gen c-class mech...geez, that'd be dated, wouldn't it? or maybe a shortened LX platform. And if they do that, it wouldn't really make sense to just do a two-door, so I imagine there'll be a sedan as welll as a coupe. Maybe the challenger will be the only one to wear the coupe name, kind of how camry calls the coupe the camry SOLARA, this could be the stratus CHALLENGER.... or whatever. But there's going to be a challenger.... definitely...I'd be more concerned about where the manual is going to come from for the hemi as there isn't one right now, but I'd be really surprised if chrysler built the firepower without it. oh man, they might just settle for a paddle-equipped version of the existing mercedes auto... dammit.[Edited on August 2, 2005 at 3:44 PM. They did bring it back once already. Haven't seen any of these running around for years. I had a friend who had one in the late 80s. Spent more time in the shop than on the road. I was just at the gym reading a Car & Driver that was several months and contained an article about the Charger. The subtitle was something along the lines of:Cool car. Just don't paint a confederate flag on the top.
