Pixies was definitely best. I wasn't thrilled when I had to sit through Portastatic during the Rilo Kiley show.

best show for me so far this summer:

Red Rocks - moe., Gov't Mule, mike & leo, xavier rudd

looking forward to the allmans at jones beach, then moe.down in september. NIN at the garden in november.

best: madison, the suicide pact - sept 2. i can forsee these things

worst: farewell, the sleeping....only because it started late and there was some local band that i didnt care about and i left early cause it was too hot and i missed the sleeping

What does this have to do with the show? They're not your friends, they're a working band, and they've probably been screwed out of pay so many times that they're a bit neurotic about it. Nothing wrong with that, even if it is a bit curt.
