I'm looking hard at SECU. I can't really see a downside to getting a checking account with them. Anything I should look at before switching from BB&T?

i cant get SECU because i'm not a state employee anymore. i've heard some good things about RBC and Wachovia may work for me since i wont be leaving NC too soon. whats ING like?

i wasnt aware that ING was a normal "bank". i have a savings plan with them, but its not like i can go the ATM and withdraw money. i have to transfer money into and out of my normal checking account. but they do have an excellent interest rate, so thats why i keep some money with them.
