I have the nice job in meteorology, but I want to finish up the MEA degree in order to work for the National Weather Service and really get my career going. Paying your way through college without putting yourself into debt sucks.

putting yourself into debt sucks worse

Hai, that is why I am not too concerned with not being done yet. Now, if I was trying to pay my way and only making $6.50 at a job I hated, then I would have a totally different view of this.

yup I'm on the 5.5year plan, but I've co-oped for 2 years and job offers are starting to roll in from big name companies... its very nice for it to be a matter of "where" I'm going to get a job as opposed to "if"Several people told me "stay in college as long as you possibly can" so I found a way through co-op... I pay for everything but tuition (including insurance, WHAT A BITCH) I have no regrets, I've had a blast, and now I'm about ready to hang up my college hat and move on with my life.
