i have the claim form also. if anyone else needs it. it took me a few tries to get it from that first site.

The battery costs $50, the other $49 pays for shpping a labor. And they might have been able to give more, but from the looks of it, anyone who ever bought an iPod and had it serviced can get a check. Those requirements look way too loose.

if you would take the time to read the settlement information, you would see that they will either:

-replace your battery for free
or
-give you a $50 gift certificate to apple stores

If they replace the battery, they replace the iPod. Even apple doesn't service the batteries.
