I'm not sure if they are already, but they suck because I can never get a pizza from them. If they are advertising on here already, I hope this thread nullifies their ad.

Quote :
"To Whom It May Concern,

I used to be a big fan of Papa John's Pizza and have (after today) decided that I really don't want to order Papa John's anymore.

There seems to be a general lack of organization in the company which I find very inconvenient and annoying. The last four times I have ordered pizza (over the phone), two of your stores have played "Monkey In the Middle" with me because they both claimed that they couldn't devliver to me but the other store could.

Today, I decided to order online. One store first called me to get directions. They then called me back about 3 minutes later to tell me that I needed to cancel my order and call the other store because they couldn't deliver it to my address. I asked them to call the other store and figure out how they were going to get a pizza to me and they told me that all they would do is cancel the order and leave the rest to me.

This (I guess) is a good thing because I cancelled my order, but decided to order from Pizza Hut which is further from my house than either of the Papa John's locations. Pizza Hut did a great job of getting the pizza here on time, being friendly and cordial, and even though I called the wrong location, they told me to place the order and it would get taken care of.

I also wanted to thank you for not delivering a pizza to me and putting a $13.79 pre-authorization hold on my card (yes, that was meant to be said in sarcasm). It's a good thing I wasn't a poor college kid or maybe I would have just had to go hungry tonight. I find that is a shame that a guy who tips 50% of the cost of the pizza can't get a pizza delivered by Papa John's and is out $13.79 for several days. I hope you guys stop this practice until you figure out whether or not you're willing to deliver a pizza to a customer.

Please let me know when your stores have figured out what they're doing and I might (depending on how you answer to this feedback) be willing to order from Papa John's again. Even though, I must say, that Pizza Hut loves delivering 4-5 pizzas a week to my house and the drivers especially appreciate my 50% tips.

Please refer to order 19683747.

I had that issue with Pizza Hut once. The one closest to us (like a mile away) wouldn't deliver because they were out of drivers. The one about 3 miles away wouldn't deliver to us because we weren't in their area (even though we told them the other one refused to deliver that night).

The whole "area" thing is stupid, but I think they all do it that way.

when I lived on stedman dr, there wasn't a single pizza place that would deliver to our place.

that officially makes that area ghetto.

^ I got that same letter from Sandy

I had to complain because I give these 'tards exact directions to my house and they never get the fucking directions right (my street is weird, it stops running at one point in the 1500 block and picks up with 1600 a short ways away, and I live in the 1600 block)

I always have to guide some kid from 1523 ____ St to 1640 ____ St, which takes several minutes on its own in addition to the last hour he spent driving in circles around the 1400 and 1500 blocks. When clearly I give them a linear route to avoid that trouble beforehand, they always choose to take shit into their own hands, which gets them lost, and I always get a cold fucking pizza.

Screw papa john's.

^^worked there, and there is still no excuse for that

in fact a store being high volume has nothing at all to do with pickling a customer in between delivery ranges

i worked at dominos when i was 15
when we got internet orders i would just say we didn't take them cause it was too much of a hassel trying to get all the details from someone else. if you just call it will only take a minute and you are much more likely to get your order right
