last year when I was working on europeans, I had to fix several cars that Absolute Automotive fucked up onbtw, tsmith works there i believe

i do not want to start a pissing contest here, but i have been at absolute for a year and i can say that a car would not leave our door if it was not fixed right...i don't know where your info comes from but....

the dyno is installed, should be running very soon..hoping to have a dyno day july 23rd or shortly after..
6/27/2005 9:49:05 AM
Awesome, post up whenever that dyno day is. I'd love to see how much power this thing makes. Sucks it's a mustang brand dyno, though.
6/27/2005 11:26:05 AM
i thought mustangs were pretty good, just stingy w/ their numbers
6/27/2005 12:23:40 PM
omg.. a place to take my skyline err wait.. i don't own one yet

I'd want an AWD dyno just for tuning, if anything. It'd be a shitload easier than all the time I spent helping a friend road tune his VR-4. Dyno #s don't mean all that much... timeslips are where it counts.
6/27/2005 1:04:06 PM
Dynojets are the most widely accepted, but that doesn't mean that other dyno's aren't any good. As long as you use the same dyno for all your runs/improvements/logging/etc the numbers will be accurate.Dyno numbers aren't subjective. Timeslips are. A dyno is alot more consistant than any person's reaction time is going to be, not to mention all the other variables that come into play at a strip.

speakin' of dynos, did RPM move from capital or did they just open a 2nd location on hwy70 in garner across from agri-supply? i was told the new location has a dynojet as well.
8/1/2005 9:45:44 PM
they moved
8/1/2005 10:14:31 PM
They did move, Yes. And they do have a DynoJet now - they're kickin ass at their new spot, too Mike
8/1/2005 10:30:32 PM
FYI, Phantasm has sold their dyno. An AWD Dynojet is on the way.
7/5/2009 9:29:07 AM
who goes there though?
7/5/2009 9:54:01 AM
Going there for ricer bolt ons is one thing, going there for the parts they stock that noone else in town does is another.
