No, we don't. There are a wealth of places on the Internet for you to talk about your pets with other pet owners, who will no doubt have better, more reliable advice for you and won't flame you all the time.

The sections on the Wolf Web are pretty college-friendly. The Lounge, Chit Chat, the Soap Box? We all like to talk. Tech Talk? Well, we all use computers, or else we wouldn't be here. The Garage? Many of us own automobiles. Sports Talk? College sports, a no-brainer.

But pets? You mean those things you're not allowed to have in the dorms? You mean those things most of us aren't allowed to have in our apartments because of clauses in our leases? You mean those things a minority of the users here have? Nah, thanks.

There are a significant number of threads about animals. It would help those who aren't interested in animals because then you don't have to use that message board, just as I don't post to the "garage, chit chat, entertainment or soapbox!" Not interested in talking about any of those issues. Mostly I post about stray animals or anything about animals in general. Those of you who aren't interested could just not use the message board! Thanks for you consideration!

I was trying to filter out the ones that werent actually animal related, but it got really tedious and I had to pee, sorry. Anyways, just a suggestion. In most of the sections you get flamed when trying to talk about animals, and serious stuff ends up generating back to PETA and vegetarians and if there was a section for animals people who don't care about it except to make fun of it or criticize it may not read it and in turn post. I understand the too many sections thing. Although I don't understand how people get confused, but I see it happen all the time.

i usually only read the animal posts. I think it would be nice to have an animal one. Also, i chat on other message boards that are just for dogs, horses, cats, and specific breeds, but it is nice to talk to people that you know are about your same age, status, and live in the same state as you.

And no its not needed on this website. If you guys are seriously that concerned about animals and whatnot ... you should take the time to create a website pertaining to the student population at NCSU/Meredith/Shaw/Peace/etc. You could give out a LOT more information and cover a much broader range of people rather than those who just use TWW.

Afterthought: Create a student organization at NCSU. If they can create a Super Smash Brothers Melee club, you can create one relating to the stuff you do (so long as it doesn't exist already).
