I don't go to people's houses to make fun of them. I went to Jeff's (friend's) apartment because he said I didn't have the balls to say to his face the same things I was saying to him online (which were that he was a useless presence in the Garage and he had no room to make fun of something he's never participated in), and he responded by throwing punches. I never asked to have him suspended, and I never even mentioned anything about the incident until he was trying to brag about it in Chit Chat like he'd done something special. He hasn't come back because, instead of most people being like "yeah good job" or whatever he though, people told him he was childish and immature for reacting like that.

If you think they are going assign a new mod you are wrong. The most they would do is remove JJ's status but I highly doubt they would do this. This topic has been tried several times and it never works. The reason it doesn't work is because it's always someone argueing with JJ, getting bent out of shape and saying stupid shit. Maybe if you had handled yourself with some restraint in that thread it would be different. But you didn't and it's not. This will never work because no one in the Garage understands how to present the arguement.

^the argument doesn't need to be presented; it needs to be locked before it gets out of hand. if topics were locked as soon as they got bad, the trouble-makers would get the point and quit posting trash in the garage. personally, i think jsquared does a fine job, other than the fact that he does argue back, then lock the thread so nobody else can post, which i do find funny although it is wrong. it should be locked without a comeback. i merely suggested a new moderator to help him out since he's not on as much anymore, and i do feel a 2nd is needed.

If j^2, Joe, or whatever powers that be would have another mod, I seriously would offer to help. Lately, I have incredibly too much time through the day to spend around my apartment.. so I tend to read even if I do not post. I have been a part of the garage since it has been created, and yes I do feel j^2 does a decent job moderating things (unless something gets personal of course), but he can't be here all the time. The Garage has had a huge explosion since its creation and with that comes a lot more random stuff being posted.

I haven't had any problems with him in person or online.. and I don't mean the offer to help as any bit of an insult. I just have helped with setting up and moderating other forums before and wouldn't mind helping if it would ease a lot of people and get rid of some of those damned worthless threads a little more quickly when j^2 isn't available
