sometimes when people ask the same question over and over again (especially in the sports section regarding tv and tcikets), i really think it would be a help if we could keep a thread at the top of the page...kind of like they do on statefans.

i think it's a good idea

also if there is a big event and people start posting the same topic like crazy, it might help if the first topic posted could be pinned so people wouldn't miss it

or you could try like tech talk did and have a catch all thread for referencing other threads to keep at the top...just bttt often. Maybe have the mod do that?

I vote no for the stickies too ... some big website forums have them but they end up getting irritating in the end ...
