I'm sure this has probably been suggested before, but I personally wouldn't mind the option of never seeing a single post from a few "special" members of our community again.this could be confusing in some threads, but it would be up to each individual user whether or not to take advantage of the feature. it would also be a passive way for some people to possibly realize that their ways are unapproved of, and could bring some positive good to tww. in addition, it could cut down on the number of "plz suspend ***" threads created in here, by allowing a larger degree of self-moderation to account for individual tastes.

look man its already like im pissing in the wind when i talk ....lets not make it worse on the ole chicken how bout it
4/23/2003 2:34:42 AM
haha like a mute button
4/23/2003 4:09:07 AM
for one it's seems like it'd be more of a premie power, but not only that it kinda defeats the idea of a messageboard
4/23/2003 5:13:29 AM
yeah. agreed ^
4/23/2003 5:29:56 AM
4/23/2003 5:35:23 AM
i agree too.
4/23/2003 5:39:38 AM
I agree Shadow. There are a few people that I would just assume not have to even think about.
4/23/2003 9:51:56 AM
If you're talking about me, then that's really odd.Because you mention my name many, many times in threads I have neither responded to or when I'm not even signed on. Eighty percent of your posts are pertaining to me, in fact. That's right, you're a hypocrite. And I was going through some PM's of mine the other day, and since you like to say my "junk" is so "worthless," then why'd you want to buy some of it? Yeah. Don't make me whip out the fucking PM on your sorry ass. But I don't care what you say really, until you come in a thread of mine in the classified again. Then you'll see me make a total pwning of you in this feedback forum. You need to be suspended. It's just that simple. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, navy boy.
4/23/2003 12:32:14 PM
got a big head do we?
4/23/2003 12:33:38 PM
The size of my head has nothing to do with this. Stop picking on me, sober.Go look at his threads. For some reason, I'm the only one he ever talks directly about. I have an internet stalker I guess...

scrumples is the epitome of manliness
4/23/2003 5:44:36 PM
what the fuck does that even mean?
4/23/2003 6:48:37 PM
e·pit·o·me ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-pt-m)n. A representative or example of a class or type
4/23/2003 7:07:40 PM
an example -- smiltos's 5 posts have all been solely stupid ploys/tricks to get ppl to hit his outwar shit. knowing that this is all he posts, i'd rather just not have to see that, although it's not really anything blatantly suspendable or deletable, as long as he keeps it in chitchat.
4/24/2003 1:19:23 AM
no. blocking certain people defeats the purpose of a message board.
4/24/2003 1:25:47 AM
the dumbass posters on TWW make you people appreciate my wit and humor so much more.
4/24/2003 1:31:56 AM
schutt up.

I'm a butt pirate.
4/24/2003 1:59:48 AM
4/24/2003 2:04:59 AM
smilto's threads get on my nerves becuase they auto-direct you to his site for outwar... it's one thing to have a link in there but it's annoying to keep hitting it over and over... even threads he didnt' start.
4/24/2003 3:10:46 AM
I have to agree with Shadow. Some people just post useless shit, like that guy that posts nothing but "boobies" 500 times in one post, or the noob that keeps posting that pic of the guy holding his ass open. I really dont need to see shit like that when I wake up in the morning. I have seen this used effectively on other message boards where some people just dont want to deal with jackasses.
4/24/2003 10:39:49 AM
For it.
4/24/2003 2:44:42 PM
for it as well.
4/24/2003 3:20:29 PM
If those 2 are for it, I'm in, but I didn't read what this is about.
4/24/2003 3:23:30 PM
i like the idea Byrn Stuff brought up of it being a premie feature. i don't think this defeats the purpose of having a msg board at all; ppl can still post whatever they like, but it allows ppl not to be subjected (on their own initiative) to posters who are repeatedly offensive but do not cross the line to punishable behaviors.
4/24/2003 4:41:24 PM
i think it'd get confusing if you had 5-10 people having a conversation and each one contributes something, but you've got one or two of them blocked and someone you don't have blocked comments on the blocked person's response and then you're confused (did you follow that? ). it's kinda like having a conversation where you don't hear a couple of people and you just end up repeating what someone else said and looking like a boob.but yeah, might be an interesting idea.
4/24/2003 5:36:17 PM
I dont know how much of a problem that would be since most would only block users that are extremely annoying to them. I imagine most people wouldnt block someone unless they were really offended by them, or tired of reading their posts.
4/24/2003 5:53:41 PM
i'm going to block all the dudes, so as far as i'm concerned, it's only the ladies online.
4/24/2003 6:02:22 PM
But then you'd only have like three threads on the entire site, and The Garage and Tech Talk would have like one post each...
4/24/2003 10:18:55 PM
