Maybe Tyrese, Carol, and Judith arrived before the group last night.Mary offers the new group one of 3 types of meat they're grilling up: Dark meat(Tyrese), light meat(Carol), and veal(Judith). That would lead to some interesting drama. Only to be trumped if Maggie is fed some of Beth.
3/24/2014 2:47:00 PM
speaking of Beth, does no one care about her? lol. i hope next season doesn't turn into a re-run of "where's sophia?"
3/24/2014 3:20:44 PM
darryl cares a lot. he just can't let those guys know.
3/24/2014 4:50:58 PM
Just to point out something silly, it seemed that Darryl didn't realize they beat that dude to death until the next morning. I guess he fell asleep to the sound of them pounding on him.

Saw this on facebook. Is that poster on the right also from the show? I don't remember seeing it anywhere.
3/24/2014 7:45:00 PM
I think it was in the house Michonne was clearing with KHORAL
3/24/2014 7:52:28 PM
Oh yea, the one that was wrapped up...
3/24/2014 8:27:15 PM
It's annoying and forced that no one ever asks Eugene what caused the zombie outbreak when it's brought up in nearly every scene he's in.
3/24/2014 8:59:32 PM
i believe Glen did first thing, and he told him he couldnt tell him because its classified

Beth spare ribs
3/25/2014 2:33:00 AM
When Glenn and Maggie finally reunited my response was "Finally, no more of that shit." How long have they been a couple? a year? The way they act around each other, you would think they had been married for 10+ years. They always say shit like "I know Glenn would have done this". Maybe I'm wrong but it's hard for me to feel emotionally attached to their relationship.Edit: Just read this 2 pages back. +1

3/25/2014 8:43:34 AM
Yeah, I was thinking he might be full of shit too. Everyone will take him in and protect him if they think he holds the power to save them. He seems pretty okay with getting side tracked and not near as gung-ho about getting to Washington as Abraham
3/25/2014 8:48:18 AM
Eugene wants to get that mullet in tara's pants, but why, that's classified
3/25/2014 9:15:43 AM
Beth made a brief appearance on last week's The Following. I guess that's where she ended up!? I thought it was a solid episode. And the more Rosita the better
3/25/2014 9:39:14 AM
I enjoyed last week's show. I thought the writing was tighter but alas this week's..the writers have convinced the world that Maggie doesn't give a shit about Beth. ok cool. But now they are trying to convince us that Darryl doesn't either? he was just WITH her. He spent half a season looking for sophia mainly b/c of guilt. Now Darryl hanging with a bunch of Darryls basically.Terminus better be full of cannibals. I'm talking wall to wall cannibals. so I can root for them
3/25/2014 9:25:31 PM
^I don't feel like they've suggested that Daryl has forgotten about Beth at all. I felt like the whole time that they were basically showing that Daryl was going to simply stay with this group out of safety until he found the "right time" to leave(guessing finding the right ride or meeting up with someone from the prison along the path).I think that plan changed when he realized they were heading towards what is suppose to be a "civilization" in Terminus, he probably figures maybe Beth was taken there or some of the prison survivors would make it there as well. Not sure what you'd expect Daryl to do by himself on foot with no tracks to follow when Beth was taken in a car. If there was any type of trail to follow, I'm sure he'd still be on it.I personally do not want Terminus to be filled with cannibals. I do hope that it is a dangerous cult type situation, possibly involving Beth and the car with the cross on it. But alas I do imagine the Terminus storyline will spill over into next season, but would be funny if they spent that many episodes getting to Terminus just to have them wrap it up in one episode just to use it as a medium to get everyone from the prison back to one centralized location.
3/26/2014 8:20:57 AM
Darryl probably realized he didn't have much of a choice of whether to stick with the new group or not.
3/26/2014 8:24:02 AM
^exactly. they made it pretty clear it was join or die.[Edited on March 26, 2014 at 8:50 AM. Reason : and yeah, i'm thinking a cult]
3/26/2014 8:49:53 AM
I agree that Maggie's lack of concern for Beth is a little unrealistic. You would think she would at least ask Glenn, or the others, if they knew anything about our whereabouts. However, this show clearly isn't meant to show us every instance of conversation, and that interaction would not necessarily be material to the plot. So I can give the benefit of the doubt that maybe it did happen. Megan no longer mourning for Beth could be because she has lost so many people by now and she was overly concerned with Glenn. Whether she should be more concerned with Glenn or Beth is debatable. Anyway, we have seen the riders write somebody off in one season and then bring them back the next season. That is likely what will happen with Beth. I do not think the terminus group is driving around in cars and picking up people on the street. Even if they are cannibals, they had enough vegetables to last them a little bit of time. Overall, I thought this weeks episode was better than most. I do expect the finale to disappoint me, but that is basically because of what I've seen to date. Regardless, at this point I am interested in the terminus storyline unfolding next season, let's just hope this weeks isn't big enough of a flop to change that.

My take on Eugene is that he's just some dude with aspergers or something and he truly thinks he knows shit, but can't tell anyone. Not necessarily that he's full of shit, he will just be proven to be wrong.
3/26/2014 12:44:05 PM
I think Eugene is smarter than most of you give him credit for.
3/26/2014 12:48:32 PM
Perhaps...what are some possible reasons why he wouldn't be able to tell people what he knows? It would seem he's not someone that was a part of the government before this all happened, meaning he just "figured" something out that anyone else could have (if they were as smart as him)

i believe the implications have been that Eugene is rather intelligent. If we hadn't picked up on it or doubted it before, his discussion about calculating Glen's pace of movement and where to meet up in his head was supposed to remove that.
3/26/2014 2:23:48 PM
So intelligent that he convinced Colonel Gingerstache and Lieutenant Hotpants to protect him on false pretenses maybe?
3/26/2014 2:30:26 PM
Perhaps more Rainman intelligent? There have also been multiple instances of the other pointing out how he got them lost a number of times or made other mistakes. He shot their truck all to shit also.I would also argue he hasn't proved any intelligence yet, and the example about calculating where Glen would be might have just been lucky. It wasn't a very convincing sounding argument to me about knowing exactly where they would be.
3/26/2014 2:39:47 PM
3/26/2014 2:59:54 PM
Let's look at the 2 possibilities:1. He knows the cause.Eugene is a brilliant scientist that holds a huge secret and needs to get to Washington DC to help fix the situation. Well, Eugene isn't exactly fit to protect himself or make a go of things alone, so he needs others to protect him. If Eugene told everyone his secret, he instantly loses his only bargaining chip and what he has to offer to those protecting him. As long as he has the key information, he isn't expendable and needs to be protected. Eugene knows he is physically lacking, so he tries to help where he can mentally(building batteries, figuring out where Glenn would be if he stayed on his current pace, navigating, etc) to make himself somewhat useful.2. Eugene doesn't know shit.Eugene realizes he can't physically survive on his own or get very far with his limited skill set so he deduces a good plan would be to convince others to protect him. Eugene concocts a plan to tell people that he is a scientist and knows the cause of the zombie apocalypse and can cure it if they just keep him alive. He knows he needs an objective, so he tells them to get him to DC, could just be buying him extra time to stay alive and potentially if anywhere in the US has the cure, DC is as good a bet as any. So he convinces people to protect him and keep him alive at any cost(as they said they've lost several people along the way trying to protect him). Perhaps if Eugene doesn't know shit, maybe he could even slow down the group intentionally(oh I don't know, shooting a truck?) just to prolong the free ride he's getting.Either way, Eugene is pretty smart. If it's #1, he can't just tell everyone his information. That would be like a criminal just handing over information instead of using it as leverage to get a deal, just doesn't make sense to give it up. If it's #2, well then he's outsmarting several people and they're helping him stay alive longer when he would most likely be dead by now. Keep on keepin' on Eugene!
3/26/2014 3:26:28 PM
I still think he has aspergers
3/26/2014 3:51:19 PM
2)
3/26/2014 3:51:21 PM
Did it ever explain how they got ahold of Eugene? Like where was he to begin with, how did he get word to what's left of the US government in DC that he knows the cure, how did Abraham get to him, etc.?Also,
3/26/2014 3:51:49 PM
At least she covered up her midsection this week...lord knows if I were dealing with zombies I would keep as many exposed areas of skin as possible
3/26/2014 4:11:00 PM
she will prolly be fighting zombies in a two piece swimsuit next week
3/26/2014 5:53:10 PM
In the comics, Eugene is a talking zombie, kinda like that one super mutant in Fallout 3
3/26/2014 6:54:47 PM
the Governor was Nemesis, and Merle was a Tyrant
3/26/2014 7:24:28 PM
Terminus is very obviously cannibal land. This show is so goddamn heavy-handed that it hurts.

^^it would be "obvious" if there were bones all over the place.

I'm guessing one of Darryl's new friends sees beth and says "claimed"... Darryl gets pissed.
3/30/2014 12:19:36 AM
I think they are going to try and set up some sort of conflict between Rick and Joe, the "leader" of Darryl's group, probably to play out in the first half of next season. I think beth is definitely going to be on the menu tonight
3/30/2014 9:17:03 AM
Is this whole episode gonna be a bunch of prison flashbacks
