Remember when Jon Stewart pantsed him on tv and got his old show cancelled? Good times. But like many an angry mediocre white man, he had no problem getting additional chances to continue to suck ass in a position of power.

Yeah I saw a post on Parler about that and how fauxnews ratings have plummeted and that the viewers have mostly moved to OAN and NEWSMAX
11/10/2020 3:12:33 AM
Moving the dominant news sources and communication platforms for these people further underground strikes me as. . . concerning.
11/10/2020 7:21:28 AM
That's what I can't fathom. If someone confirms a narrative for them, then it is legitimate and sacred. If that same person disproves a narrative, then somehow that person or group is immediately untrustworthy and part of a slew of mainstream conspiracies. It's happened with people, such as Bush, Mitt, and McCain, and it is now happening with Fox. This shows me that a significant portion of the conservative movement wants nothing to do with learning the truth but really wants someone to prop them up, so they can continue believing the same thing they always believed.
11/10/2020 2:28:35 PM
On the one hand, moving further underground moves their information bubble further from reality and makes them more prone to radicalization. On the other hand, being further underground makes these information bubbles harder to reach for those not already radicalized.
11/10/2020 2:46:08 PM
A decreasing number of people have increasing control over all main stream media sources in this country. The tech companies, wall street, and Washington elites have all collaborated to grab a stranglehold over information and silence anything that threatens their dominance. The people know the media is full of shit and that is is the problem. Misinformation thrives in an environment like this where there is no source that can always be trusted. At that point, people will always choose to trust the unreliable information they like and ignore the unreliable information they don't like. You can't just pick and choose where to draw the line and the collective decision for these groups to prop up biden but spread negative information on everyone else was the last straw.
11/10/2020 3:44:29 PM
Says the guy who posts headlines from tabloid newspaper.
11/10/2020 4:05:30 PM
Are you refuting the legitimacy of that story?
11/10/2020 5:08:33 PM
I'm refuting the historical journalistic standards of your chosen source.
11/10/2020 7:47:58 PM
The chairwoman held a live streamed press conference and I watched it. Afterwards, I wanted to tell people about it. I did not choose the source. I tried to explain to you that it wasn't anywhere to be found and that is all the google algorithm allowed me to see. You are just proving my point about how these entities work together to discredit news they don't like and amplify news they like. If you don't like a story, make it so that it can only be found on sources with low credibility with the public.[Edited on November 10, 2020 at 8:07 PM. Reason : this is literally part of the problem]

I find it interesting that so many people on the right, well, at least the election has been stolen / QAnon crowd, are now trying to boycott Fox News and even saying they've joined being "the enemy of the people". I guess calling the election for Biden was too much for them to handle.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Stupid Fox anchor (who's been one of the biggest pushers of the "election fraud" BS on the network) had an interview with the CEO of Smithfield Foods and didn't realize the person she was interviewing wasn't their friggin CEO. How the fuck does a major news network make that mistake? Literally no one her staff looked at the dude's bio on the company website and said "huh, that doesn't look like him at all." Turns out it was a fucking animal rights activist.https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/23/media/maria-bartiromo-smithfield/index.html

I saw something on Twitter this morning with Hannity speaking positively about vaccine, not sure if that was recent or old though and too lazy to look
7/20/2021 1:42:32 PM
it wasn’t the first time he had said anything pro-vaccine, and it was sandwiched between segments that had guests who were skeptical of the vaccineof course, some of the left were quick to celebrate and welcome him to The Resistance before getting that key piece of context

It's hard to tell if this exchange was scipted or real. I'm thinking scripted.... maybe?https://www.avclub.com/laura-ingraham-has-never-heard-of-netflixs-you-never-h-1848067036

tough to know if it's some shitty version of Who's On First, or if she's just that self-absorbed. I don't know enough about their history together to strongly lean either way.
11/16/2021 4:51:58 PM
I've seen a lot of them together and they pull this kind of shtick frequently. Here's another scripted scene where he falls out of his chair:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad75XgwFjLIwhich he hams up later in a sling and neck brace:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNBJLW1Clz8
11/16/2021 8:04:52 PM
That's quite unfunny and stupid. When the misunderstanding is so obvious, any reasonable person would correct after the second oversight. Goes on way too long to considered unscripted. I'm not really arguing that they're actually reasonable people, but you know what I mean. They're functioning humans for whom English is a first language.
11/16/2021 8:17:47 PM
obvious lip injections are obvious
11/17/2021 10:51:44 PM
Yeah, had to be scripted. Any functional adult would have clarified the show is on Netflix and called 'You' about 10 seconds into that volley.
11/18/2021 9:18:33 AM
Being scripted makes it even stupider, actually. But judging by the comments on the YouTube video of the incident garnering the most views, the vast majority think it's completely legitimate and "hilarious".
