^^I was going to say...but salsa's healthy!

ok can't just have a post about salsa on a new page.

I'm doing a Triathlon tomorrow - .5 mile swim, 15 mile bike and 3.1 mile run.

Roller blading is more gay than biking. Why don't you just suggest we do a Richard Simmons workout video together?

another 65 minutes on the treadmill at 3.2mph, 5% incline while playing a video game. I think my cardiovascular health is improving because my heart rate isn't getting as high for the same intensity level. Either that, or I'm losing weight and not having to carry as much weight.

Since I moved right near a park, I have been running/playing basketball/both a lot. It's a beautiful park and with the nice weather, it just makes it easy.

still gotta go to the gym for weights tho

how heavy of DBs do they use in the program? Is it just sarcoplasmic hypertrophy training? I'm just curious how much mass one could stimulate to grow given a healthy surplus and rest, whilst doing a p90x weights routine. I know the program isn't designed for mass, just curious if it could be used for someone looking for a home workout for mass and has no gym.

10min Cardio

I wish our gym had those Hammer Strength press machines...although I really don't care for the seated press motion, I just think they look cool

they're pretty nice, my gym has incline, flat, and decline. I prefer the regular bench for incline and flat press, but for decline i like using the machine better....im weird

As many rounds in 20 mins as possible of:

5 Thrusters at 95lbs
7 Hang Power Cleans at 95lbs
10 Sumo Dead lift High Pulls at 95lbs

A Thruster is where you rack the weight on your chest and squat. When you come up out of the squat, press the weight over head ensuring complete lockout of the elbow, activation of the shoulders and pushing your head through your arms.

A Sumo Dead lift High Pull is where you have a wide stance and a narrow grip on the barbell. squat down and just like a dead lift, stand up except finish the motion by pulling the bar up and under your chin.

I completed only 7 rounds. Trying to get back into the routine.

I joined a gym finally because I was tired of just riding my bike and playing Rock Band...

So last night, I joined the gym and went to a water aerobics class and then came home and rode my bike for 40 minutes while playing Rock Band.

I'll be back to the gym again tonight. Woopty woop.
