^Yes Abraham is a badass. at least in the comics. Hope they keep true[Edited on February 17, 2014 at 8:49 PM. Reason : as]

Didn't Abraham tell Glen he needs him to die? Why do people in this show split up so much? The black guy couldn't just take the two girls with him to investigate the screaming they heard? His best idea was to leave two little girls alone in the forest with a (big) bundle of crying walker-bait?And lol@ another ninja zombie sneaking up on someone. In the middle of a forest. Shuffling its feet through dry leaves. Silently. Also lol'd at Glen's "prison escape strategy" i.e. derping right into a horde of walkers and somehow, still weak as fuck from illness, just pushing right on through them. Then wasting ammo on single, non-threatening walkers. These smart Hollywood people really need to work this simple, simple stuff out or people are going to keep shitting on them and this show. Not that I don't like the show overall! I'm just sayin. C'mon, man. Come the fuck on.

Abraham is likeable, but he also an asshole Glen should ask Abraham how he found them, and he should answer I followed your computer maps, douche bag!!
2/18/2014 3:20:28 AM
My problem with Glenn's big push through the zombie pile is that he still had some exposed spots, when he was talking to the girl in the fence you could see his neck easily exposed. Also agree with him being almost dead getting on the bus, manages to get off, pass out, wakes up recovered like it was a video game and he used "rest".Abraham is a badass, should eventually grow into a likeable character. Curious to see if they follow the comic storyline or change it up(I've read they're going to change it up, so should be interesting).I kinda understand Tyrese's idea. Screaming coming from one direction, I'm standing in the middle of the woods with clean line of sight and tons of dry leaves so the kids will hear any walkers coming towards them. Much easier to have them stay in one place than to have to worry about them while he's dealing with whatever is making the screaming sound. If Lizzie wasn't a psychopath that would have gone over much smoother as she seems to be quite capable of killing zombies. I think only Carol and her sister know how fucked up Lizzie really is. (Note: Lizzie isn't in the comics, so not a spoiler of any kind, just assuming she fed the zombies, killed the rats, and killed the sick people that Carol burned)Hoping they don't devote an entire episode to what Carol has been up to since Rick left her, but I fear that is coming at some point.

dude, the whole second half of this season is gonna be who was where when who else was doing this and thatwe still haven't seen how the bus got zombified, or what happened to lilly loland then Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene are going to have a flashback, possibly starting at the fall of civilization and/or how they met upthey are gonna milk the hell out of this flashback shit, and the last episode will bring them all together, and set some cliffhanger for season 5
2/18/2014 8:51:39 AM
They have this whole plot with Maggie struggling to determine whether or not Glen's alive, but they already showed Glen in the commercial for this week's episode and the next. The only tension is the dramatic irony of Maggie not knowing. Sure, they could be on skewed timelines like Tyrese and the girls vs. Darryl and Beth. I'm kinda loving that Carol showed up. There'll be some nice tension there with her, Tyrese, and Crazy McBabyKiller
2/18/2014 9:09:36 AM
I can't imagine them wasting an episode on "how the bus got zombified", I think it was quite obvious when they showed the bus littered with bullet holes. Someone got hit, someone died on the bus, someone turned into a zombie and it went from there, no reason to have an entire episode devoted to that when not a single character anyone gives a crap about was on that bus. They only showed the bus to add suspense to "Where is Glenn" though the previews clearly showed that Glenn would not be on the bus so kinda killed that.I do agree that it'll be a couple of episodes of getting everyone to a point where they can have a group reunion, but not sure they can devote the entire half of the season to that unless they all meet up at some major location that is a game-changer of sorts that acts as a big cliffhanger. Plus I'd be quite disappointed if they went that route because I feel like they'd skip a lot of good pieces from the comics.

i got the impression she covered up for the little girl.can't remember if they overtly said that or not, but little girl obviously got some probs.
2/18/2014 12:50:30 PM
disregarding the obvious suspension of disbelief necessary for this show, I'm not sure I would buy that story. So Rick accuses her of killing them, she confesses (instead of just saying she didn't do it without fingering someone), and then continues to hold onto that confession even when facing her excommunication from the prison? She wouldn't even have to say who DID do it, but let's just say she did. She could sell that as this girl has some things wrong with her and she really needs help...I don't see it as necessary to cover for her to the point she did (in that scenario)
2/18/2014 1:01:07 PM
^She basically became the "mother" to those girls, so yes I definitely could see her taking the blame for it. Plus I think it's established that Carol did indeed burn the bodies, which she admitted to. I think what she omitted was that the girl killed them and she burned the bodies to hide them. This is all speculation, but it really makes more sense than Carol just randomly going and killing them, didn't seem to really fit her character.I also think she felt partially responsible for Lizzie being so messed up with all her classes and instruction she had given the children regarding defending themselves and overall trying to make the kids "hard". They spent too much time setting up Lizzie to be a psycho(naming the zombie, feeding the zombies, killing animals, smothering baby) for it not to be all part of a pattern of issues and I think that will eventually include killing the 2 sick people. They'll probably have an episode that flashes back showing all the psycho things Lizzie has done, could even be part of Carol's flashback episode to explain where she was. She knew if she outed Lizzie as the killer that no one in the group would look at her the same ever again and she'd probably end up even more screwed up.
2/18/2014 2:15:17 PM
I suppose I could buy that it's a possible scenario, though I would still argue it's a dumb decisionIf she tells them what actually happened than they have a discussion about what to do about this 12 year old psycho which ends with them saying she should be watched at all times and not given any weapons and try and help her not be a lunatic.By her leaving she's now out on her own, no longer able to help the girl at all, and what assurances does she have that the girl won't just admit to what she did tomorrow anyways? She clearly doesn't understand that what she's doing is wrong, so would she really keep it a secret forever?Like I said, I guess I'll buy it...but it's a fucking stupid decision, especially once presented with the consequences
2/18/2014 2:29:59 PM
Either way, both of them are now with Tyrese which could be hazardous to his health. I cant remember if they ever got a chance to tell him that Carol did it. Think thats when the tank shot the prison right? Got them distracted.
2/18/2014 3:16:04 PM
Tyrese does not knowIf they went that route, I'd also need to have a little explanation of why a 12 year old girl is able to comprehend that killing the two people who are sick might prevent the illness from spreading. Hell, in the beginning I'm not even sure the whole population of the prison was told about the illness, let alone the children[Edited on February 18, 2014 at 3:23 PM. Reason : asdf]
2/18/2014 3:22:03 PM
^^ I remember Rick and Darryl being on the way to tell Tyrese that Carol burned the bodies. They were in the basement of the prison. Something happened just in time to distract them, but I don't remember if it was a tank shot or not.
2/18/2014 4:20:52 PM
Yeah, it was the first time the governor and his men tried to take-over the prison (think it might have been a blooper gun or grenade launcher)
2/18/2014 4:43:57 PM
I feel like some of you guys are reading WAY too much into Lizzie's behavior. She doesn't seem anymore out of sorts to me than Hershel's youngest daughter when she was suicidal.
2/19/2014 1:42:41 PM
the show is trying to make her appear "out of sorts", with the almost suffocating the baby, trying to train the walker, naming them and getting upset when one was killed, her sister saying "she's strong, she's just messed-up in the head" (or something like that)
2/19/2014 1:47:07 PM
^Maybe we are, but if we are, then they showed a ton of weird behaviors that aren't attributed to anyone.1. Feeding the zombie she named and called her "friend".2. Killing rats.3. Almost smothering Judith. We're speculating that she killed the 2 sick people, which could be completely wrong, but I don't think we're really going overboard. She literally went into tunnel vision and almost smothered an infant and let her little sister, and potentially herself, get attacked by zombies...that shit is not something a sane person would do.
2/19/2014 1:47:58 PM
alright, along the lines of pointing out inconsistencies in the show, here's the only one that kinda annoys me: during the first season, there were instances of people simply being scratched by zombies and that was lethal. not being bitten, just scratched. the last couple of seasons people have been straight up grapplin' with zombies without any recourse as long as there was no biting. like carl's fight with the zombie in that house two weeks ago - kid should be dead from some sort of skin-breaking wound. what gives, eh???
2/19/2014 2:02:19 PM
^i don't recall people dying from scratches in the first season. can you give an instance? and we've found out that everyone turns into a zombie after they die, regardless if it's at the hands of zombies or not. and when people died from bites, it's usually due to infections. That's why herschel was able to live after getting his leg chopped off.but no, the way they've shown the virus to work, i don't think scratches would turn them into zombies. the only thing that turns them into zombies is dying.[Edited on February 19, 2014 at 2:09 PM. Reason : ]
2/19/2014 2:08:21 PM
^^ I remember thinking that, too, but I can't think of any instances where someone turned from a scratch.
2/19/2014 2:25:05 PM
Well the zombies are walking corpses, teeming with all sorts of bacteria and infection, so in a world that doesn't have easy access to rubbing alcohol, Purell, and basic first aid it is very easy for a scratch from a zombie to fester and become infected, ultimately leading to death. Perhaps in the early days of the virus, the people with weak immune systems died of just a scratch because they couldn't handle being infected but the ones who have survived this long have an ultra aggressive immune system that has adapted to the new world. Also, on the topic of Lizzie, she is most definitely crazy. Right before the governor attacked, Rick found the body of a rat that had been sliced open, dissected, and strung up on a door. That is the kind of thing that serial killers do when they are kids.
2/19/2014 2:29:06 PM
^^ and ^^^, i don't remember the character's name, but he was part of the group at the quarry. he got scratched on his stomach when they got attacked at night. the guy they left on the side of the road from the winebago. but i could be wrong, he may have been bitten.and oops, i wasn't implying that a scratch would directly cause them to turn - but it would cause them to die, and then turn, that's what i meant. Don't forget Lizzie killing the bunnies for no reason.I still wouldn't totally buy the story if it turns out that she killed the sick people, but they have certainly showed enough substantial evidence that there is something wrong with her, much more so than suicidal people. Also I don't recall anyone turning due to scratches either[Edited on February 19, 2014 at 2:32 PM. 2/19/2014 2:30:44 PM
I'm sure this was brought up on page 1 and then time and time again afterwards, but even after all this time, I find it odd that they have to be bitten to turn, but yet can get zombie blood/fluids in their eyes and mouths and still be ok.I guess maybe the simple fact that a bit kills them and then they come back.
2/19/2014 2:36:10 PM
2/19/2014 2:40:39 PM
I understand that if you die you turn. I just find it odd how the smallest of bites kill.Small gripe, and i haven't had many gripes regarding this show. Just that I can't stand Coral.
2/19/2014 2:50:53 PM
small bites don't necessarily kill, it's the infection from the small bites that kills. that's why Hershel lived after he had his leg amputated. that's why carol was going to try to save lizzie's dad life when he was bit on his arm by amputating his arm, until she saw he'd also been bit on his shoulder/neck, which couldn't be amputated.

Most of the times that people get bitten it isn't a small bite, btw. It's a giant chunk taken out of their neck or arm.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it would definitely be a major shocker/twist/surprise to see Khorl die, he's one of the 2 main characters on this show, and I'm pretty sure Rick would just off himself if Khorl died.
2/20/2014 1:12:44 PM
^ If both Coral & Rick died that would make the show infinitely better. Although this last episode probably put me out of ever watching again.
2/20/2014 6:15:13 PM
do people who watch the show actually need a chart? my god
2/20/2014 6:18:12 PM
I doubt Kirkman would ever kill Rick, he's the main character for the foreseeable future.Plus, this show needs idiots and trigger happy maniacs. If this was a show about sensible and smart people surviving the apocalypse, it would just be season after season of CAFO style zombie killing and farming. It'd be about as interesting as a documentary on the potato beetle.[Edited on February 20, 2014 at 8:43 PM. Reason : ]
