I stand by my opinion that o'connell has no business being in the game late. He's not a good defender and in offense teams just don't worry about him and can shade towards guys who can actually possibly score. He had the ball for almost the entire final possession for some reason

Honestly i would have put Diouf in with Hill, Taylor, Styles and Middlebrooks. He's shown some touch at the rim with some nifty moves in his limited playing time and UNC's bigs aren't good. At all. MOC doesn't help with spacing or clearing out the lane for drivers because no one respects his shot.

Middlebrooks had another pretty good all around game but missed too many close ones in the 1st half. 2 bad possessions to end the game after a big rally killed us.

Yeah Middlebrooks just doesn’t have great touch around the rim. He’s a solid big man but just cant convert enough of his close looks to be an anything more than a clean up guy.

Missing James sucks, I think he could’ve been a reliable shooter and primary scoring threat. I’m most disappointed in Styles I think. He’s fine but was hoping he’d be a better 3PT shooter that we could run the offense through. Maybe my expectations for him were too high. And I know McNeil is just a frosh, but I thought he’d be a scoring threat too. He can’t get off the bench.

Yeah I thought he was supposed to be a great scorer. Something we sorely lack. I know KK gets flack but I trust that if McNeil isn’t playing it’s because he’d be a liability out there.

They actually are allowed to overturn foul calls during a review. Now i don't think they can just review a common foul if nothing else occurs, but if they go to the monitor for potential technical/flagrant they can change a call made on the floor.
