He did, but he was "on the spectrum". I watched most of the video and noticed that when he wasn't speaking he was constantly shaking, stretching, or otherwise playing with a piece of yellow film or rubber or something. I've seen exactly this fixation in an autistic former neighbor. His parents used to give him the film label off a soda bottle to calm him down. Worked. He had it with him essentially all the time. They called it his "shakey paper". He was smart by some metrics, but clearly off and struggled verbally. The guy in the video was much more high-functioning.

https://www.defense.gov/News/News-Stories/Article/Article/4063467/defense-secretary-renames-fort-liberty-as-fort-bragg-honoring-wwii-soldier/Fort Liberty renamed to Fort Bragg. Technically, it's now named after a WW2 veteran. However, if there was any substantive goodwill behind that, I doubt he would've captioned it as "Bragg is back". In that case, it would've been accompanied by a statement clarifying and publicizing that fact, and specifically rejecting the Confederacy. With that all considered, is it in a way kind of insulting to just use a WW2 veteran for that purpose (unless there is some sort of military shortlist for naming things that I'm not aware of, and Bragg was conveniently at the top of the list)? In the short term, I suppose yeah, in the long term it won't matter. It doesn't matter that much, I guess, but gotta add it in here to maintain this thread.
