In fact, he came closer to breaking the 100 m record than he did the 200 m. His time in the 100 m from a few days ago translates to a time of around 19.65 in the 200 m.

The U.S. Olympic Committee and the 3 swimmers have all come out backing the gas station story. 2 of the 3 got back their passports and left Rio Thursday night. The USOC executive apologized to Brazil.

I can't get over how hot the sprinters are (mostly 100M and 200M) for each country. Even my wife has agreed. Each of the 100M hurdlers would get it. They seem to get uglier as the distances get longer. There were some hideous beasts in the 800M...the one exception being the cute American that barely qualified.

I'd probably fuck about 90% of the sprinters. Females...no homo.

He was heavily favored but the guy he wrestled was #2 in the world. No excuses, he shoulda won, but it was poor luck that he drew him in he quarters instead of the finals. Still has a shot at the bronze in the repechage

ehhh they just lose all their flesh and curves as they become more endurance, although some of them can still be fairly cute like emma coburn...plus a trainer at my gym is kind of sexy with that endurance body type (triathlete)

The Caribbean Islands, and Jamaica in particular, have always had great sprinters. It use to be that they would get poached by other countries such as the US or UK for the Olympics. Bolt and Price are the first in a while to represent their country in the Olympics, and their success has created a brand that has lead to other people following their example.

Well the first story was it was the police with a gun to his forehead, who then cocked said gun against his forehead and demanded money, without any mention of their vandalism. Then the video came out, and now it was actually the owner/station worker, and there was no gun against his forehead, definitely not cocked against his forehead, rather it was pointed in his "general direction," and they were asking for money (to pay for the vandalism which Lochte still can't admit he did).

I'm just going by what Lochte says and what Lauer seems to accept as general fact. If the video shows something different I assume Lauer wouldn't be shy on calling him out about it given the tone of the rest of the interview (which was basically "you lied to me so now you'll be lucky if your career isn't over)

Even if they do legitimately owe you money, holding someone at gunpoint and demanding money is hardly what I would call "negotiation"

the video does show what looks like a guy holding a gun and a bunch of people with their hands up getting robbed, but it doesn't show any vandalism. Apparently Rio decided this was the only robbery this year that needed solving, and after confiscating passports and extorting money out of one of the other athletes the case has been solved!
