MNot only not asking for it, but actively denying it! That would be the ultimate PWN.

Gonna probably fuck up IBMA and Wide Open Bluegrass. Maybe they will move it indoors like they did a few years ago when it also had a storm. Actually made it kind of nice as fewer people were there so I was able to get some good photos and get a lot closer to the bands. Finally got VIP tickets this year and now this.

We don't have to wait for your death to do that. I'll see what I can work up for you to enjoy in your remaining few hours of life.

^lolIt's just usually more humid and warmer when they roll through. Not 59°
10/7/2022 9:41:05 AM
I misunderstood your usage of the word "cool". I interpreted that to mean interesting / intense rather than low temperature. Now I'm clear.

There’s like a 75%+ chance we end up in an El Niño phase of the Southern Oscillation by late fall. This phase is associated with high wind shear over the Atlantic tropics and actually reduces Atlantic hurricane activity. I can’t always keep which weather catastrophes are associated with El Niño vs La Niña, but I think El Niño is associated with the epic heatwave in this country we’ve seen. Also typhoons in the Pacific, epic wildfires in Australia, and flooding throughout Asia.

^^&^^^ a true statement about media hype is allowed to be made without snowflakes such as yourselves bemoaning green alarmist fantasies. Enjoying it very much too, considerably cooler than many past NC summers I've experienced Also noting record low amounts of wildfires in the US, and glaciers growing on Greenland. cheers!^Agreed, I don't believe El Nino is associated with (above average) favorable Atlantic hurricane conditions. Also it definitely may be a leading factor for the excessive heat suffered by the SW region of the US. Quite the concentration of heat, given that as a whole the US is experiencing a very average summer.Recent revisions to the amount of water vapor expelled into the atmosphere from the Hunga Tonga eruption will probably bump up the global average temperature, temporarily, for 7-10 years. It's effects possibly won't even peak for 3-7 years. On the whole nothing crazy, just a few tenths, but I suppose that's significant for one singular event (an eruption).( https://www.authorea.com/users/304243/articles/657090-long-term-surface-impact-of-hunga-tonga-hunga-ha-apai-like-stratospheric-water-vapor-injection )Hurricane season is just warming up though![Edited on August 8, 2023 at 1:29 PM.
