It is pretty clearly a dumb statement, especially after Clinton fabricated the Bernie Bro thing
2/18/2016 3:08:38 AM
lol clinton fabricated.not good timing with Rembert Browne throwing down the "How Hillary Won Harlem" piece in the New York Magazine.http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/02/how-hillary-clinton-won-harlem.htmlwho will be Bernie's "i know black people" guy now?

120K caucused in Nevada in 2008. 80K this year.Tell me again how Bernie's organizing is better than Obama
2/20/2016 11:15:12 PM
Cool strawman bro.
2/21/2016 12:39:25 AM
Obama lost Nevada in 2008, I don't think I'd hold that up as the best example of his superior organizing.
2/21/2016 1:11:58 AM
bernie doesn't stand a chance. it doesn't make sense but its almost as if both parties voters are doing everything they can to lose the general.
2/21/2016 4:08:30 AM
Another close caucus that comes with issues being reported:Caucus problems: Cards not counted, computer issueshttp://www.rgj.com/story/news/politics/2016/02/20/long-lines-too-few-ballots-dem-caucus-locations/80666630/^^ Not only did Obama lose Nevada in 2008, he lost by a wider margin than SandersClinton was leading Nevada by over 20 points in December and won by just a few, it's silly to ignore that, i guarantee that the clinton campaign isn't ignoring that
2/21/2016 11:25:11 AM
they are because this was one of the states bernie had to steal. he has not shot in the south and will be completely obliterated down there. even if he splits the rest of the states, it won't be enough to overcome the deficit. He's in a big hole and needed another early win to try and change the tide. [Edited on February 21, 2016 at 11:39 AM. Reason : momentum. ]
2/21/2016 11:38:35 AM
Maybe my point wasn't clearThese things should raise red flags for the general election, Clinton doesn't exited progressives or independents and that is a real problem for the general election.[Edited on February 21, 2016 at 5:06 PM. Reason : Exitex ]
2/21/2016 5:06:14 PM
berniebros have an excuse for everything. he's an organizer and candidate who is going to revolutionize politics by turning out millions who are unengaged...until he's not.[Edited on February 21, 2016 at 9:02 PM. Reason : .]

Yeah man, that's kind of how you lose. When people you think will vote for you stay home or they vote for someone else, it typically means you won't win. [Edited on February 21, 2016 at 11:34 PM. typical msnbc "gotcha" bullshit. the description was so vague. they intentionally did that to make everything apply to both candidates. Talking about tuition for all would've set them apart.

"Everyone will be automated out of a job" isn't a new concept...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LudditeI know, this time is different.Time is a flat circle.
2/23/2016 2:57:44 PM
^ This time, it is different. And people were right the first time too, look no further than Flint Michigan or Detroit. Automation ended up being devastating for those communities. What industrial robot arms did to those communities is a good template for what AI will do to the rest of the country. Not suggesting we fight AI, we should embrace the freedom this could provide us to further increase our standards of living.

2/28/2016 1:25:38 PM
its still a racist, false narrative because its not about them being black.
2/28/2016 1:48:00 PM
^^ the excuse is he was always going to lose SC. Not that it does anything to refute the supposed belief that he was gaining ground with the African American community.
2/28/2016 2:28:02 PM
no one ever claimed that the momentum would be enough to win scsanders is closing the gap in african americans, it is an issue only of exposure and not ideology[Edited on February 28, 2016 at 3:22 PM. Reason : also, i'm pretty positive that the lacrosse dude is from /r/the_donald]
2/28/2016 3:20:54 PM
If Reddit was the real world Trump would have been crowned Emperor already
2/28/2016 3:47:09 PM
^^ except Hilary took the African American vote in absolutely dominating fashion Forget winning the state, that was a done deal, he got absolutely wrecked in that demographic
2/28/2016 4:32:50 PM
... which was never in doubt
2/28/2016 4:47:18 PM
So how is that gap being closed again? Are SC African Americans just different and don't count?[Edited on February 28, 2016 at 5:08 PM. Reason : Aka when it doesn't fit your narrative then it was just expected]
2/28/2016 4:58:57 PM
the gap in SC was always immense, it still is despite Sanders winning support among african americans there
2/28/2016 5:45:27 PM
SC african americans can't be different because all african americans are the same.
2/28/2016 5:45:40 PM
The establishment of counting black votes and white votes is inane. There's no back-room meeting where a decision is made that all black people are voting for so-and-so. Each African American is an independent voter. Sure there are trends, but not getting much of the black support in SC does not mean blacks in other states won't vote for him.

2/29/2016 5:14:53 PM
the dude isn't a member of the socialist party, goldielox just heard that on r/the_donald
2/29/2016 7:33:15 PM
then i guess he should give up his position as the honorary chair of the democratic socialists of americahttp://www.dsausa.org/cornel_westyou're a fucking clown, so go ahead and argue how this socialist party isn't the socialist party or some other bullshit. and then i'll pull this quote from their website to make fun of you even more
2/29/2016 10:07:06 PM
theres no shame in the socialist party
2/29/2016 10:19:21 PM
The campaign isn't doing anything to try and get more voters. Just the same talking points which are good but anyone that has heard them isn't going to switch by hearing them again. Also, most of the national tv ads have 0 content. Theres no value in showing an ad with music playing over drone footage of bernie rallies. worthless. his only ads that have talking in them, refer to things that only people who already support bernie will understand. "in order to control big banks, you can't take their money" is not a quote that explains anything to someone who doesn't already know whats happeningmeanwhile clinton has thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iDRu2q2cRwi hate her but have to remind myself not to vote for her after watching this ad. A++ marketing.
2/29/2016 10:44:16 PM
^There was nothing of substance or anything new about the platform in that video either. It just feels like pandering to the next group of states. Anything Morgan Freeman says is going to sound brilliant, don't be fooled by the smooth talk.
3/1/2016 4:02:47 AM
Are we pretending that Sanders isn't releasing ads?(Also, democratic socialism is not state socialism goldielox)
3/1/2016 6:03:09 AM
berniebro, if you think that saying someone who is a member of the democratic socialist party isn't a socialist is a winning move, by all means, proceed. everyone else is gonna be over here laughing at youi enjoyed the bernie ad i saw the other night. it was very "undergraduate school catalog" in its "here's a black guy," "here's an asian guy," "here are some gay people." all while containing the substance of a trump rally speech[Edited on March 1, 2016 at 9:31 AM. I want to point out to the libertarians/greens/tea partiers that Bernie is the only presidential candidate in a very long time (ever?) who vocally supports being more inclusive of third parties.
3/1/2016 5:26:24 PM
http://m.truthdig.com/report/item/bernie_sanders_phantom_movement_20160214Because you don't read many criticisms of Bernie from the further left. I can't say that I agree with it entirely (it seems extra cynical to be a piece from Chris Hedges), however, it offers A good perspective that you won't see in many places (and maybe that's the problem).
3/1/2016 8:04:13 PM
So are we still sticking to the idea that Bernie is gaining ground with the African American voters when he once again got trounced by that demographic? Or do we just use the excuse that we knew he was going to lose those states?
3/2/2016 9:50:34 AM
do you understand how wide the gap was a year ago?
3/2/2016 9:55:17 AM
Do you understand how badly he is getting beaten in that demographic? It's a wider margin than when Obama was running.
