Not bad ... could definitely be much MUCH worse. Wish they'd shrink the wolf head a little, but I really like the wood/paint tones.

I'm assuming HUGE FUCKING LOGOS are something the recruits like these days, since that's why every dumbass aesthetic design in college sports has been adopted in recent years.

It's like they just glom onto any stupid design from the early 90s and think it's hot shit.

I like it. Would've preferred one of the older wolf logos already mentioned, or this one:

Wish they'd never updated these logos to the current, more cartoony looking ones. Same goes for the block S - much prefer the Amato era one.

Agreed. All of the 'Block S' logos were sooo redundant. I'm glad it's something different. I like it. It's definitely not terrible. Maybe should be a lil' smaller and I think the paint/key should be red still. Overall.......nice.

Well, for the first time in a looooooooooong time I actually like something the athletic dept has done. The court looks better, I have no problem with the wolf at center court.

I'm just glad they didn't do the damn ECU logo.

Yes I emailed a while back. And technically the stadium is owned by Centennial Authority, which was created by the General Assembly to plan and build the arena. And one of the board members is always the chancellor of NC State. So no NC State doesn't own it, but its not like they have zero say on what goes on in the building.

RE the Martin news. He'll be out 8-12 weeks, right? So he'll miss some practice and stuff (which is bad for a freshman's development I'd guess) but he should be fine for the regular season.

He'll prolly still be pretty damn sore, but yeah...even 12 weeks would put him out until end of September which is what, a good month or month and a half before the season begins.
