I have an odd, but somewhat serious comment...thegoldenrul, what are your thoughts on fracking and its possible effects on the water supply?
4/18/2013 10:06:44 AM
I believe that Fracking while monetarily beneficial to those who want to export natural gas and lower energy costs for Americans, is a bad idea due to the environmental & health impact we will suffer from it. As an aside, this kind of antiquated energy technology should have long been replaced by those technologies developed and shelved by the military/industrial/defense contractors & US Patent office. It's also a breach of private property laws if the energy companies are given the so-called "right" to push chemicals through the earth's crust beneath our feet in order to extract the energy. It should demonstrate to everyone that the corporations who run this place believe they own the planet and not humanity, since any concerns about the damage done to our water supplies or ecosystem is noise to them and not much else. Already the damage caused by this practice is showing up in people's water supplies as you can watch them light their tap water on fire:http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fracking+water+fire&oq=fracking+w&gs_l=youtube.3.0.0l10.11164.13128.0.14151.10.9.0.1.1.0.168.901.5j4.9.0...0.0...1ac.1.p1M1-1wtp1c

Just to scare the shit out of you, here is what is happening around you in zip code 27713. I assume from google that this is your zip code, let me know if you would like me to run another zip code. This is all secret information (... that the government also makes available to anyone and even has a public APi available if you would like to make an application that uses the data. so also not secret really).
4/18/2013 12:27:03 PM
Fear is an illusion so no dice scaring the shit out of me but no doubt nefarious activity is going on all the time all around us. I'm not so sure how one should begin taking direct action on the info you provided but perhaps that's something you can head up since you took the time to look into it.[Edited on April 18, 2013 at 12:37 PM. Reason : typo]
4/18/2013 12:36:01 PM
(the time to look it up was clicking a bookmark and typing in a zip code)
4/18/2013 12:41:07 PM
So in other words dtownral will do nothing with his research, as per usual
4/18/2013 12:43:20 PM
except for my profession that i do every day that is doing something about some of those numbers, i will not do anything at all
4/18/2013 12:45:50 PM
I thought not, lol
4/18/2013 12:50:53 PM
did you ever get a chance to find out how much arsenic was in your drinking water? it will be a pretty huge story if you find some since durham has been reporting non-detect for years.
4/18/2013 12:53:26 PM
well, I know one thing. those bastards need to start adding a shit-ton of advil on weekend mornings.
4/18/2013 12:57:14 PM
No, I found out that the City of Raleigh purchases a chemical which is contaminated with arsenic and they systematically add it to the water for reasons you can't explain. I never said once in any of my articles or appearances that arsenic comes out of my tap water nor did anyone else in our movement, but instead question the official policy of spending over $100k/year on Hydrofluorosilicic acid which is purchased via Pencco chemical distributor and bled into our water supply. Can you explain why they buy the chemical tainted with arsenic and add it to the water, if they are only later going to filter it out? is it because it benefits our teeth?lol you are so silly dude
4/18/2013 12:58:20 PM
arsenic is the leading contaminant of creating HSF from phosphate ore, the NSF standard is based on it not leading to measurable arsenic levels in your drinking water. the new EPA water requirements will also be adding arsenic testing to the regular water testing, but this isn't very exciting since most already do it anyways (since arsenic is found naturally in groundwater). i explained that before too, but maybe you missed it
4/18/2013 1:05:52 PM
you've never explained why you think 1000s of cities spend their money on this, if not for healthy teeth. why would munis spend their taxpayers money to get rid of an industry's waste? why? what's in it for the cities?
4/18/2013 1:06:57 PM
Hey goddammit, I raised an important issue. Who gives a shit about Flouride? Hangovers are a much more important and widespread issue.

dtownral, I guess saying what is true, is a scare tactic these days. You're right man, I've done a total 180. I'm going to go dismantle my website and stop this effort immediately.
4/18/2013 1:30:10 PM
that's terrific[/thread]
4/18/2013 1:43:29 PM
I just don't even know how to respond to something as illogical and nonsensical as this anymore. It costs less than a dollar per person per year to offer this treatment. Found this funny while I was researching how to get through to people like this:
4/18/2013 2:03:11 PM
If you could read more than a paragraph before hitting "reply" you'd realize it's not a treatment.Further if you had a decent soul and weren't a collectivist you'd see the immorality of medicating everyone by force through the water supply. Incredibly poor comprehension & critical thinking skills for a so-called educated person.[Edited on April 18, 2013 at 2:33 PM. Reason : diction][Edited on April 18, 2013 at 2:34 PM. Reason : diction]

I'm not the only intelligent objector. There are literally millions of people who disagree with this.http://www.fluoridealert.org/

and you can't succintly say why you think thousdands of local governments spends 100s of 1000s of dollars to dispose of someone else's waste.
4/18/2013 3:36:46 PM
^^The "why" is unimportant.Just know that THEY are out to kill you. (even though "they" get paid through your taxes or market consumption depending on who they are)I'd find this thread more hilarious if my dad wasn't spamming me with Alex Jones bullshit about Boston Marathon bombing being an inside job. 4/18/2013 4:25:52 PM
thegoldenrul - Do you drink a lot of bottled water?
4/18/2013 9:45:19 PM
How did I miss this gem of insanity?
4/19/2013 1:53:18 AM
Grayfox - No

I don't like this new more succinct version of thegoldenrulI prefer nutty walls of text
4/19/2013 10:03:25 AM
You should come out to meet me on Saturday then.
4/19/2013 10:14:03 AM
what kind of water and beverages will be served? also, what food?
4/19/2013 10:19:17 AM
It's potluck so bring your own food & drink. Show up to find out.
4/19/2013 10:25:41 AM
Not only am I gonna be bringing tap water laced w/ fluoride, I'm gonna be using that water to boil my noodles in
4/19/2013 10:34:03 AM
I have no doubt about that whatsoever.
4/19/2013 10:46:37 AM
my point is that any food or drink items are going to contain flouride and/or arsenic, and since i don't like being medicated without my approval i want to know what dosages I am receiving.
4/19/2013 11:19:57 AM
That's a damn shame isn't it? If the water is medicated consequently all food made with said water is also medicated so you raise a good point. It should be news to no one that our agriculture & food system here is likewise tainted by corporate interests but I am sure this is just another topic to laugh at as a defense mechanism.Of course I know you're being facetious in typical fashion, wearing ignorance and hostility like a suit of armor to delude yourself into believing you're immune to the things that have been done to you since before and after your birth...It's really the coward's way of addressing his/her own inability to cope with the harsh reality of this toxic planet... a kind of cloak he puts on which gives the false sense that "all is ok, it won't affect me! The crazy man doesn't know what he's talking about!" Riiiight. But I understand what kind of ill mind behaves like this and feel a lot of sorrow for the number of like minds out there which like you are so intransigent about the current state of the world.
4/19/2013 11:45:17 AM
*food made without that water will have flouride and/or arsenic[Edited on April 19, 2013 at 11:50 AM. Reason : since these things are found naturally in many things]
4/19/2013 11:49:22 AM
Does that hold true for hydrofluorosilicic acid?Is hydrofluorosilicic acid found naturally in the ground water?
4/19/2013 11:54:55 AM
yeah if you reflux it
