If anyone online sees that there are a couple people playing and in a party feel free to drop into the party chat and see what we're up to. Chances are you'd find someone down to run a strike, crucible, etc.

Don't be shy, we're generally pretty friendly I promise most-to-all of the swearing I do is generally at myself or at being hulk-smashed by Titans in Crucible.

^ a "party" on xbl is separate from whatever game you're playing. in this case, it's separate from your fireteam. the party allows you to chat and access other people across games/activities. generally, chatting in a party is much better/easier to hear than regular chat in-game. you also get a few nifty options like inviting an entire party to your game, and it provides a consolidated view of your friends say if one gets dc'ed you can go to your party and invite them vs. scrolling through your friends list. leaving/joining parties has -no- impact on whatever game you're playing or activity you're doing. we've even had some cases where people will be in the same party and able to talk, but in separate fireteams in destiny doing different missions.

The Party system is Xbox's method of allowing players to band together and use voice chat. One player will start the party and others can be invited or join in through the Friends list.

Me Fry, Exiled, LFRyder and several others have been playing various games together (mostly COD) for several years now, so we usually party up automatically. If you see several of us online at the same time then go to the Friends list and pick one of us out and on our player card you can hit Join -> Party.

Hey Fry, I have you on my friends list, however it always shows you're offline even when you're online. I saw you in a game with Exiled the other night but your name on my friends list said you were offline. it was weird.

finished the raid tonight. man it really does matter to have someone with experience in charge and people not fucking arguing. I think it took us ~2-3 hours though.

the cryptarch surely is the final boss of this game, and i don't know that i will ever beat him.
got the exotic helmet engram from xur and ended up with a titan helmet for my warlock . was happy i ended up getting the last coin i needed from the cryptarch to get the ice breaker rifle though.

i bought a pack of 5 auto rifle experience usable things from xur for just 1 strange coin. those things are no joke, i got more than a full bubble out of each of them and maxed out my new monarchy auto rifle. great buy.

i also bought the icebreaker... not sure why really. it's fine. i haven't been in a situation where i'm otherwise out of ammo, so i guess i haven't fully appreciated it yet.
