Props deserved for last night. I know Jax sucks, but Rivers was on point last night.

They are two games back with 4 to play. Tebow has to falter at some point...and Raiders don't exactly look solid right now. Who knows??

Chargers basically have to win out.

And if the Tebows win 2 more games there's no way the Chargers win the tiebreaker over them. Buffalo and KC both look like easy games and Chicago isn't nearly as tough now as they were before Cutler went down.

Chargers lost twice when they played chicago. Got beat and gave an easy win to all three division opponents by injuring Cutler. Bears play all 4 AFC West in 4 consecutive weeks and started with the chargers.

I'm guessing the tiebreaker is division record?? Because San Diego has already split with Denver.

Would be pretty funny if they could pull the same shit on Denver that they did three years ago. I'm less worried about Oakland because they seem to be in a tailspin of sorts.

Sproles was gonna be basically the highest paid RB in the NFL if they had kept him. They had already franchised him (which means paying him the average of the top 5 in his position) and if you franchise someone again you have to pay them even more.

Two ways to make the playoffs assuming the Chargers win out.

1.) T-Blow loses the next two games (buffalo and Chiefs)

OR

2.) Jets lose next two (giants & dolphins) & Bengals lose one.

For some reason that ESPN playoff machine told me that the Jets only have to lose once, so I accepted it.

But now I remembered they lost against the Jets head to head so I'm not sure what the playoff machine was talking about. Since they aren't in the same division is head to head the highest tiebreaker?

Ok that thing was right, I wasn't considering the other teams that might finish 9-7.

If the Jets and Chargers are the only teams that finish 9-7, then the Jets would have the tiebreaker because of the head to head, but if multiple teams finish 9-7 the Chargers have basically the strongest tiebreakers.

Here's a good post I saw on a chargers forum, slightly clarified without the percentage chances that are inaccurate anyway. EDIT: This one is better for wildcard
