R Grant vs NOorJ Addai @ Hou

^^ agreedand ^ probably Addai just since Peyton is out. But pretty much a toss up[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 12:53 PM. Reason : ]

I like Grant in that matchupSo I'm back to this trade offer again. I can't decide. I feel like Addai is a huge risk based on his age and his injury last year. Any other players I should try to bargain with or exchange out?I would receive:Dwayne Bowe and Joseph AddaiI give up:Green EllisJulio JonesThoughts? My team:PRivV. JacksonS. I would do that trade in a heartbeat. You dont know what you're getting in Julio, and the fact that you are already gambling on another rookie (AJ Green) there would be too much up in the air. Bowe was rock-solid last year and would immediately become the 2nd best WR on your team.Green-Ellis is so hit or miss, I would rather have Addai
9/7/2011 12:54:47 PM
Here's what I'm worried about with Addai:The last 3 seasons he's never broken 1000 yards.Green-Ellis did that last year plus 10 TDs. Addai has only 1 season where he broke above 5 TDs in the last 3 years. He's also 28 and coming off an injury and a newly formed O-line
9/7/2011 1:02:15 PM
^^,^ Agreed you have two good RBs already and J Stew to fill in on bye weeks so not a big drop off if you lose BJGE, plus Addai gets a bump up without Manning. Bowe is on par with VJax and a lot better than Johnson. Who knows how Julio will do and even if he is the best rookie receiver he still has Roddy to compete with for catches, who does Bowe have to compete with, Steve Breaston?Felix Jones or Shone Green at flex?Sidney Rice, Mike Thomas, Malcom Floyd, or Pierre Garcon at WR2? (.5ppr)No clue how Rice is gonna be this year, Thomas and Garcon take a huge hit because of a lack of a QB, and Floyd has V Jax and Gates to compete with.[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 1:08 PM. Reason : .]
9/7/2011 1:05:28 PM
gotta go Floyd & GreenRice is up in the air, Thomas has Luke McCown throwing to him, Garcon without Peyton is useless, Floyd is in a high powered offense and has a good a chance as any to catch redzone TDs among Gates and Jackson, and Green should get the ball a good amount behind a better O-line. I don't trust Dallas this season to be a legit running team. Plus NYJ's rush DEF(3rd last year) was awesome compared to Dallas (12th last year).so far everyone that has commented on my trade proposal says take the trade and none have seen things my way, so I'm starting to lean in yours and DROD's direction.[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 1:09 PM. Reason : I was trying to get him to switch out Benson for Addai but he won't do it.][Edited on September 7, 2011 at 1:17 PM. Reason : yay run-on sentences]

10 players atm. 12 max. Dunno what position yet.last year I had a site that offered up a matrix that catalogued recent mock drafts and how the majority of them ended. I printed that out and took DROD's advice sorting the projected fantasy points. I guess I could just treat this year the same way as I did last year.[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 4:10 PM. what are the roster spots?
9/7/2011 4:08:50 PM
Sorry I thought I grabbed that.QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R, W/R/T, K, DEF, IR, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN
9/7/2011 4:10:59 PM
Since you have 2 flex positions, I would try to load up on stout receivers more than I would RBs. Everyone tends to draft RBs first but if you can't get a top 8 RB, you might want to think about that. Everything depends on your draft spot.
9/7/2011 4:25:06 PM
http://fantasyfootballcalculator.com/adp.php?teams=10 is the site I was referring to earlier. Should I print that out too?^Thanks, I always wonder about flex.

http://fftoolbox.com/football/depth-charts.cfm helps a little bit too later in the draft, ie trying to determine if a guy you're looking at is a #2 or #3/4[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 4:34 PM. Reason : Ø]

A little help:QB: Eli Manning vs WAS or Tony Romo vs NYJWR (pick 2): Mike Williams (TB) vs DET, Hines Ward vs BAL, Percy Harvin vs SD or Malcolm Floyd vs MIN in other league: FLEX (just 1): Marshawn Lynch vs SF, Ladainian Tomlinson vs DAL, Julio Jones vs CHI, or Robert Meachem vs GBboth are non-pprAnd in the second league (last posted) would any of those guys be worth dropping for Devin Hester? anyone thinking about starting Lance Kendricks at TE against the Eagles? I guess the Eagles gave up the most points to TEs in the league last year, and Lance Kendricks led the Rams in preseason targets.I have Kellen Winslow, but am considering starting Kendricks for week 1.^ I'd personally start Romo. Eli looked pretty bad in the preseason.[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 7:49 PM. Reason : :]

2nd pick, starts in 20 minutes WHODOIGET? :X
9/7/2011 9:08:13 PM
If Peterson goes in the first (no reason why he shouldn't), your choices are between Chris Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Ray Rice and Michael Vick.
9/7/2011 9:17:39 PM
I'd go Chris Johnson...assuming AP is taken.
9/7/2011 9:23:16 PM
I would go with Vick but I think most people would say CJIf anyone has a roster spot to piss away you might want to check waivers to see if Deji Karim (Jax) is there because he just moved up to the backup on the depth chart because Rashad Jennings is out for the year making Deji Karim just one MJD injury away from being the starter. I'm in a 16 team league so I have to scoop up as many 2nd string running backs as I can.
9/7/2011 9:36:04 PM
Pretty satisfied.Any thoughts on dropping/grabbing someone with my shitty waiver position? I didn't pick up McCluster this year but really think he's going to continue on like he was last year before getting hurt.[Edited on September 7, 2011 at 11:06 PM. Reason : ]

^^I thought he ended his holdout weeks ago.
9/8/2011 1:28:01 PM
So Foster is Q, and I'll likely give him the nod if he starts. But need back-up advice if he doesn't go.It's PPR, and my back-up options are:Felix Jones @ NYJShonn Greene vs. DALReggie Bush vs NEBen Tate vs INDYWith Daniel Thomas banged up I think Reggie gets even more touches, but Felix and Greene are on the better offenses. Then if I knew Tate would get 75% of the touches I'd roll with him but Ward is technically 2nd string. Thoughts?
9/8/2011 2:36:24 PM
Manning with cervical fusion surgery this morning, out 2-3 months at least. Quick those who have good backups, start prepping trades to teams that had Manning!
9/8/2011 3:21:56 PM
^^ I like Felix Jones in a PPR League. #1 back in a pass happy offense against the Jets (gonna be quite a few checkdowns with the Cowboys offensive line young and hurting).
9/8/2011 3:35:50 PM
QB:Sam Bradford @ Philly-or-Kevin Kolb @ CarolinaIm leaning towards Kolb as Im not so sure about Carolina's secondary
9/8/2011 3:44:33 PM
Bradfords at home and I'd take over Kolb if he were playing almost anyone but Philly, but Kolb in your scenario

Kolb, easyRB:Tolbert v. MINMendenhall v. BAL
9/8/2011 4:00:40 PM
^^^^^^ Felix Jones. I don't think you can start Ben Tate until he establishes himself as the clear cut #2. With Ward and Slaton lurking around, it's hard to tell how many carries he'll get. Shonn Greene was just abysmal last year. Very good chance he steps up his game this year, but I wouldn't start him until he shows some consistency. He's not a PPR back either, so that is against him as well.^ Mendenhall[Edited on September 8, 2011 at 4:26 PM. Reason : :]
