The one thing I'm sick of is how we lose in some shitty fashion, and all we end up with are the commentators and media people online bashing the head coaching position at NCSU and the fan base. We support our team and don't want to completely suck ass anymore and instead of just saying Sidney's in hot water, we get the entire broadcast thing doing everything they can to make it so any coach watching will never want to come here. I want this season over as soon as possible. Yow needs to just forfeit the rest of the games and start her search, I mean it really couldn't hurt at this point.

i feel like the reynolds/rbc argument would be completely moot if we fielded a team that was consistently ranked in the top 25. the rbc center is arguably the loudest arena anywhere in any sport, it's just a matter of getting a product on the court to match its potential.

i do think it would be neat to play a decent OOC game in reynolds but not much else.

i don't understand why were still bitching about the RBC

a few big east teams played in hockey arenas today, most of them ranked, and they were waaaaaaaay more empty than full.

we draw far far more than anybody else in a big arena and we fucking suck. why the fuck would reynolds change anything? it's not like moving back to reynolds means our fans are instantly gonna start cheering for our team even when we are sucking a fat one. because we're not. RBC is fucking fine, kill that god damn argument

I dont think anyone is even arguing or bitching about the rbc. comparing cameron to reynolds is a common apples to apples thing. Doesnt mean we want to move back, thats a ridiculous thing to want. I was in the dean done last week and the rbc blows it away. Rbc is very load and I would argue thats its one of the nicest arenas in college, its literally a pro arena used for a mediocre college team. I think our arena and the loud, loyal fans within it attract recruits

i'm not hating on the rbc center...i love it. i just think that the feel in cameron was great...i never got to see a real game in reynolds and all i want to do is see one.

so i guess me saying "i miss reynolds" should have been more of "i wish i could have seen our good days in reynolds"

This was my first time for a game in Cameron (the only other time being for the Bob Gibbons recruiting tournament) and while it was a great atmosphere for a game, the RBC Center gets louder when we're playing a good team and (most importantly) playing well. While it wouldn't change anything right now, I would personally lobby to get the outside 1/3 of the press row removed, and put student seats right up against the court. That, and get the student section behind the baskets to be extended closer to the court. Get rid of those obnoxious "fan of the game" tables down there. To me, it seems like most of the intimidation factor at Cameron comes from the fact that people are right on top of you, rather than it being overly loud.

Of course, most people (myself included) probably wouldn't be calling for changes if we were regularly winning...

I wouldn't mind seeing one conference game a year at Reynolds...but I don't think that would ever happen. We'd also have to put quite a bit of money in to Reynolds in order to bring it up to par with the quality of Cameron, which is something that most people don't seem to think about.

My biggest complaint with the RBC is that super shitty banner they hang up behind the court side student section. That looks cheap as hell on TV. Why can't we get something a little more permanent looking that could still be removed for Canes games?

I hope the next time we are getting our shit pushed in at home, someone just rips that thing down ala the dude from Office Space tearing down the "it is good for the company?" banner.

aside from the epileptics having seizures, it would be pretty cool and retro. maybe interchange the phrases at different times. GET LOWE! GET LOWE! GET LOWE! and MOVE THE CHAINS! MOVE THE CHAINS! WOOF WOOF WOOF! would be good choices as well.
