So I have a map saved on Bing and want to view it on my phone but can't figure out how. Anyone know?even tried sharing it with myself and opening the link in the email on my phone and that doesn't work.[Edited on May 25, 2011 at 9:47 AM. Reason : .]

I have an available update for my WP7 OS. When I install it, if it is naything significant, I'll post and update, otherwise it's probably is just a tweak update or a pre-update update.

Grabbed the HTC Trophy the day it released for VZW. Absolutely loving it so far. There have been a few minor "aww shucks" moments when I went to do/use something and realized its a Mango release.
5/31/2011 1:13:11 AM
In Mango can you select all of your emails at once and then delete them all at once?
5/31/2011 7:15:35 AM
BTW, I just want to point out that the gaming experience on this phone, even in it's rather infant stage, is incredibly and satisfying integrated with Xbox Live. In terms of gaming, WP7 should and will trump all other mobile phone devices.
5/31/2011 7:55:01 AM
^^ so not select multiple, but select all?
5/31/2011 2:13:21 PM
Mango will have conversation threading for email, which should help seedless' problem, but no, there is no "delete all mail" button.
5/31/2011 2:32:46 PM
hey noen, have you guys decided to buy pandora yet? b/c thats about 10000000x more useful than skype.
5/31/2011 2:35:59 PM
will threaded conversations be coming to outlook, because that would be awesome.or let me be more clear. will threaded conversations be similar to google's implementation or the way outlook arranges by conversation (because that is worthless).[Edited on May 31, 2011 at 2:38 PM. Reason : .]

5/31/2011 3:31:36 PM

switching from my Droid X to the HTC Trophy tomorrow. I figured I've exhausted every capability of the Droid X and Gingerbread is where it finally ceases to amaze (especially with this X2 out now), and I just want something new.Anybody else switch out from Android to WP7? What are your thoughts? Do you know of any USB tether options for the Trophy? Thanks!
6/6/2011 3:15:39 PM
i switched and love itthe only thing i'm unhappy with, and i'm very unhappy, is bing maps. its just not good. the maps aren't as accurate as google, ok i can live with that, but the implementation just leaves a lot to be desired: your locations from bing maps do not show up on the phone, there is no way to pull up saved locations except to start typing the name which doesn't help if you can't remember, no turn by turn, etc...overall wp7 is much snappier and responsive then android and i think more attractive too. i think mango is going to answer a lot of the little things i wish it does, hopefully bing maps improves too.
6/6/2011 3:48:49 PM
I love my Trophy. Biggest disappointment is when I forget that something I expect to be in place is a Mango feature.
6/6/2011 5:05:13 PM
Got it.Love it.Bye Android!Ready for Mango.
6/7/2011 9:21:47 PM
Quote :"I'd love to see the list, just to see what they're calling a 'feature'. it seems.... implausible... to have 500 new features"the same thing Apple does with a new release, quoting some ridiculous number... divide the number by roughly 50 and you'll be fairly close to the number of 'features' that are anything significant in most cases.. a majority of the rest could just be called tweaks at best
6/7/2011 10:30:02 PM
how is the Samsung Focus? That's the phone I'm currently looking into.
6/13/2011 9:42:25 AM
beautiful screen, i'm not a fan of the way the phone looks though. right now all of the phones are on par with each other except for different screens so just go with whichever one you want.
6/13/2011 9:55:07 AM
So no weird issues, call quality is all right and so forth? As far as Windows is concerned it seems like the phones ATT has to offer all perform about the same. So I'm not going to stress about that too much. I plan on picking up the phone from Best Buy because it's $0 compared to ATT's $49.99 price.
6/13/2011 10:01:51 AM
I like my Focus, calls are fine, haven't had any issues since the last update (where before the Zune music playing was wonky at times).
6/13/2011 10:09:32 AM
6/13/2011 10:17:55 AM
I have a Focus and have no problems with it.Though I will say, if you're planning on getting an SD card to go with it, you'll want to get either one of the Certified for Windows Phone cards or one of the ones you know will work fine.

I picked up the Focus last weekend and really like the phone. It's my first smart phone and has so far been really easy to use and set up. There's a few little quirks I'm getting used to, but the phone is really intuitive.

^ prayer activated! how was the install? which wp7 do you have?
7/1/2011 8:56:31 AM
I have the Focus. First install didn't go well, and my phone sat on Step 8 of 9 Rebooting for like 2 hours before I yanked the cord and had to restore it.Second attempt went off without a hitch. It's running now and I finally got Facebook chat showing up.Really liking it so far; it's really quick.[Edited on July 1, 2011 at 9:15 AM. Reason : .]

The new additions to Bing are actually pretty nice. Bing Music works really well, Bing Vision(?) also works and the text translation aspect of it is pretty neat. Haven't really played with Voice (because who actually talks to a phone!) and the Local stuff is pretty nice as well. If anyone has any questions about features I can try to answer them
