DOH... i meant Toney Baker, sorry[Edited on April 24, 2010 at 5:45 PM. Reason : ]
4/24/2010 5:44:44 PM
He's 23 or 24 and graduated. Let the man move on with his life if this doesn't pan out. He should get a chance as an undrafted free agent, who have about as good a shot making an NFL team as a 7th round pick. Also surprising noone took a shot with LeGarrett Blount. Obviously bad incident but could be a big back or Greg Jones type FB.[Edited on April 24, 2010 at 5:57 PM. Reason : .]
4/24/2010 5:55:37 PM
^^^^^I don't think Kiper was the one who had him as the #1 pick, but the Bucs signed him to a FA contract after the draft
4/24/2010 6:27:17 PM
Toney Baker used to be the #1 RB in HS. Just to show you how much HS football ranking mean.
4/24/2010 8:45:21 PM
That was also back when he had a set of knees.

4/25/2010 12:51:43 AM
Falcons drafted a guy whose official pic includes drawn in hair...
4/25/2010 1:21:40 AM
I miss the draft.I think a 4th day could work.
4/25/2010 2:21:02 PM
i think the draft should start 2 weeks after the superbowl and every team gets to be on the clock for a day or two and that way we drag out football season super long since its the only sport i care about
4/25/2010 3:06:46 PM
ECU's punter was drafted higher than George Selvie. I am in no way bragging. I think this is ludacris. The NFL draft is a wild ride man. I mean what the heck. Jevan Snead didn't even get drafted. WOW. These poor kids run through walls for years and years just to have some NFL exec take wild swings and misses on just whatever player strikes their fancy. I hate it for some of these kids.
4/26/2010 6:50:56 PM
Just for reference. Kiper just announced his top 5 for next year on SC.1. Jake Locker2. Robert Quinn3. Andrew Luck4. A.J. Green5. I wasn't paying enough attentiondidn't know unc had a player that good. we'll see how this stands come next year.
4/26/2010 7:02:52 PM
Anyone else think Seattle might have made a mistake on their draft card when they selected EJ Wilson (6'4 286 DE out of North Carolina), not CJ Wilson (6'3 290 DE out of East Carolina) in the 4th round? Pretty much everyone had CJ Wilson as a higher grade going into the draft...CJ Wilsonhttp://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/c.j.-wilson?id=496875EJ Wilsonhttp://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/e.j.-wilson?id=496877

4/27/2010 10:53:20 AM

4/27/2010 11:00:37 AM
Aaron Hernandez failed multiple drug tests. good job catching that one, Patriots!
4/27/2010 11:04:33 AM
HAHA we all make mistakes 2007 Jarvis Moss - DE 2008 Ryan Clady - OL2009 Moreno - RB Ayers - DE2010 Thomas - WR Tebow - QBSome teams trade their first round draft picks, some teams waste them (With the exception of Clady, he is a beast). We will see how Thomas works out, but I think we both know Tebow will bustAlso, Baker to take Moreno's spot

* = underclassmanI really hope UNC never has a player go #1 in the draft...thats something we not only hold over them, but we hold over the entire ACC...for nowBBall wise I think Thompson was #1 overall (ABA) but UNC has Worthy and (gasp) Brad Daugherty]
4/27/2010 8:01:15 PM
it'll be as few as 2 and as many as 5, depending on the upcoming season. quinn and austin are locks, and carter, sturdivant, and williams could also be there. burney is good but is probably a 2nd-4th guy, and charlie brown is probably 3rd-4th.
4/27/2010 8:53:34 PM
i dont care to find the correct thread or where i said it but i called JaMarcus being a bust years ago
