she is a little weird looking still would hit it with a vengeance though
6/14/2009 8:27:53 PM
yeah, cross-eyed and gap-toothed is not a good look, generally. now, if she keeps her mouth closed and you keep her in profile (like ^^)? yeah, pretty good
6/14/2009 9:32:38 PM
Love the credit music after the final sceneI am guessing that was Marshville's own Randy Travis
6/14/2009 10:01:38 PM
haha a few thoughts on the first episode.first, that sex scene was hot and erotic, and kinda creepy with the blood...but still hot second, that fucking kill scene in the dungeon was really scary.third, Randy fucking Travis.
6/14/2009 10:03:43 PM
I want to like this show so much but the Southern accents are so fucking horrible that I don't think I can keep watching, especially the black chick. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

Well okay, I read all the books and I must say this first episode is unlike anything I read. I haven't decided whether that is a great surprise or a terrible turn from the great book series. Only time will tell I will suppose. So a few things... Spoilers from last night-That sex scene was intense. Hot, yes. But intense. Sookie is one easy broad to make up with.- I am completely throw by Lafayette in Eric's basement. I get it that Eric is searching for vampire killers but none of those ppl seemed likely and I would think Eric would be smarter than that, unless Jeffrey was one of those red necks who set fire to the house with the vampires and I'm starting to think he was.-wtf with the hair foils! Alan Ball better not mess with Eric's character, in the books he is by far my favorite!-I'm liking the addition of Jessica though, excited to see her transition into a vampire.[Edited on June 15, 2009 at 9:52 AM. Reason : spoilers]
6/15/2009 9:51:03 AM
Yeah, the redneck guy thrown into Eric's basement was one of the tools who set fire to the vampire's trailer. Lafayette is likely down there because of his involvement in the selling of V.
6/15/2009 10:01:40 AM
yeah, the sex scene was intense/hot/response to spoiler alertor...Layfeyette is down there b/c they think he killed Eddie (the vampire he was getting V from) and not Amy/Jason. either way, I'm glad he's not dead--OH so very very glad!end response to spolier alert
6/15/2009 10:19:46 AM
i agree LK, i'm thinking Lafayette got nabbed up because they think he killed Eddie.
6/15/2009 10:21:45 AM
Okay. I think ya'll are right. That would be the only plausible reason to me.
6/15/2009 10:46:31 AM
i fell asleep half way through and im pissed i missed the sex sceneill have to wait until tonightbut...i thought it was going excellent before i fell asleep. so glad this is back up and running

^http://egotastic.com/entertainment/celebrities/anna-paquin/anna-paquin-nude-videos-return-in-true-blood-season-2-004713also, they could be pissed at lafeyette for just dealin V in general. but yeah, i'm more inclined to think they have him b/c they think he killed eddie.]

6/15/2009 11:06:31 PM
Actually one of my favorite parts of the show as Jessica. They showed that her character is going to be a little more complex than just a bratty vamplette that's going to get Bill into trouble. I was surprised. And my wife and I LOL'd at Eric's hair foils for good while.[Edited on June 16, 2009 at 7:37 AM. Reason : s]

this is a great interview with Lafayette, though there are one or two spoilers http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/06/true-blood-exclusive-lafayette-speaks.html
6/16/2009 11:26:55 AM
6/18/2009 11:45:18 AM
Ya know, I was wondering that myself. WTF are they turning?!
6/18/2009 11:46:30 AM
jeffrey was definitely one of the guys that torched the asshole vampires.funnily enough, i realized the dead vampire with the skeleton tattoo was a thug on burn notice for one episode.whats up with detective andy's downward spiral?
6/19/2009 2:17:05 AM
6/19/2009 8:35:17 AM
^I agree. I have never given that show or book a looksy and I don't intend to. I know I've been repping these Sookie Stackhouse books already but if you want a good book series they are (I think) 2x as good as the show and don't seem to drop much spoilers.^^Andy comes from a once prosperous Bon Temps family that now has very little. He wanted to prove himself last season with that murder investigation, but he blew it. So now he is depressed and boozing. It is great seeing that actor playing a total reversal from his The Wire character, always makes me laugh.
6/19/2009 9:54:39 AM
So season two looks pretty good.I'm guessing when Eric gets to Lafayette, Lafayette will point him to Jason since he knew that Jason had something to do with Eddie's disappearance. Eric will go to Bill demanding Sookie, or he will kill Jason. And Eric coming downstairs in the middle of getting his hair highlighted was hysterical.
6/19/2009 10:51:21 AM
There's no way they're killing off Jason. He's too big of a character. I'm guessing Lafayette will beg to be spared, and that he'll become Eric's newest bitch vampire.
6/19/2009 10:54:11 AM
i never said he would be killed off...i'm sure Bill or Jason's new holy roller church buddies will think of something. killing him off is not an option.i'm so glad Sundays have a purpose again
6/19/2009 10:55:59 AM
6/19/2009 10:59:27 AM
well, there needs to be drama...right?
6/19/2009 11:20:27 AM
kill Tara's momthere's some drama
6/19/2009 11:24:09 AM
Just because he threatens to kill Jason, doesn't mean it'll actually happen in the show... it would still be a good way to manipulate bill and sookie
6/20/2009 4:17:35 PM
Fabulous episode! I lost track of time (which I love) and was totally bummed when it went to credits. And I think the turning thing in the basement is just a torture type thing and not actually operating anything...
6/21/2009 11:05:54 PM
so the family dies and jason will be put on some elite vampire killing team
6/21/2009 11:11:28 PM
I loved the previews for next week's episode. Looks like Jason starts to fall for the minister's wife. This is gonna be good! And I totally love that Lafayette is gonna be a vampire. And I like how Sam is scared to death of that crazy lady that Tara is staying with. Can't wait to see where they go with that whole thing.
6/22/2009 8:21:08 AM
i couldn't tell if they were turning lafeyette or just killing him. i figured they were probably turning him since he's a bigger character and all, but it wasn't exactly clear about that.
6/22/2009 8:47:48 AM
if you read the article i posted a few posts back ^^^ you'll see what lafayette said about his charcter dying (or not dying). he says he's gonna be around for season 3, so that more than likely means he's getting turned.
6/22/2009 8:51:33 AM
yeah i actually went and read that right after my post bc i had forgotten about it
6/22/2009 8:58:57 AM
One of, if not the best episode of the series. Nice to see Bill finally show some balls.
6/22/2009 9:11:08 AM
Oh shit, I forgot about that! That whole "Angry Bill" thing was fucking awesome.Oh yeah, and for the first time in the whole series, I had to cover my eyes and not watch...when Lafayette was pulling the pin out of homeboy's leg.
6/22/2009 9:12:35 AM
Last night's ep was great, this season seems to be unfolding nicely so far. That Jason Stackhouse is hilarious, the whole Fellowship of the Sun plot is hilarious. I too am enjoying seeing Bill with some balls, Sookie always gets away with mad dumb mistakes and its good he finally is getting pissed but I don't want to spend every ep watching them fight so I'm hoping for a break between the two of them or something. In the past two ep's I think we have seen more of Eric's character than all of last season so for that I am incredibly grateful to Alan Ball and hope to see more and more of him... yummmm. Oh, I love the new hairdo
6/22/2009 1:37:37 PM
So, why does Bill have to kill Jessica's entire family? Some odd vampire rule I forgot about or just to cover up the fact that she was killed/turned by vampires?
6/22/2009 1:42:59 PM
Ya know I'm not certain why Bill was so mad to be honest. Who cares if she goes back to her parents and says she's a vampire? I don't get what the super crazy secret is, given that vampires are assimillating (sp?) into the community more now anyways. They're being accepted (sorta) by society so it really shouldn't matter. I'm guessing we'll get explanation in the next episode.
6/22/2009 1:45:37 PM
I mean yeah, vampires are starting to be accepted by human society, but that doesn't mean its ok for them to kidnap and turn humans whenever they want. Jessica wasn't exactly a willing participant. I think if the news got out that a 16 year old girl was arbitrarily kidnapped and killed by vampires, it wouldn't exactly help their cause
6/22/2009 1:49:54 PM
Ah yes, you are right about that. That makes perfect sense. Now we know why Bill glamoured a 10yr old to get into the house.
6/22/2009 1:58:15 PM
6/22/2009 2:04:00 PM
God damn, thumper, stop posting spoilers bitch.
6/22/2009 2:45:19 PM
WTF spoiler did I post?n/m the whole Lafayette thing from earlier. eh, it's not really a spoiler. but sorry, i didn't think the 3 vamps attacking him at the end even suggested they were killing him, especially since he'd just asked to become a vamp. my apologies
6/22/2009 2:48:59 PM
a good rule is, if it hasnt happened yet and you arent guessing, dont post itagree it wasnt much of a spoiler, but...
6/22/2009 9:12:09 PM
the church camp scenes were great. definitely a fan of the season so far.
