he can't drive, yet he has consistently been in the top 3 in points all year. fuck kyle busch. that motherfucker did that shit on purpose. i hope he gets his ass kicked.
5/3/2008 11:41:31 PM
I wouldn't really say on purpose but going into the corner too fast caused it. He didn't have the power to outrun him on the front/backstretch.

I don't know how you can say Little E is the Danica Patrick. He has 7 top 10s this year. More top 10s than anyone else. And Busch didn't do it on purpose but it was his fault.
5/3/2008 11:52:05 PM
i know dale sr. raced hard but there's no way he would have wrecked the hands-down favorite driver of nascar fans who hasn't won a race in 2 years rather than just finish 2nd. furthermore, kyle busch clearly had dale jr's number there and could have easily passed him for the win in another few turns. he instead chose to take him out unnecessarily, and that's what i have a problem with. dale jr. should have finished 2nd, not 15th.and he did do it on purpose. any other driver in that situation would have come down and given him room and went on to make the pass on the next lap. busch intentionally gave dale no room, causing him to wreck. even tony stewart wouldn't have done that, and he races people hard all the time as well. i like tony stewart for that, but he is smart about it. kyle busch will wreck anybody out to finish one spot better than he would have otherwise. if it's not a big deal, then why is he the only one with that many top 10 finishes? clearly he must suck.
5/4/2008 12:04:50 AM
it's racing y'all. there is no right or wrong, only opinions and those don't matter because the only thing that does matter is who's in the wall and who will get put in the wall next week.neither hendrick nor JGR won, so i was fairly happy with tonight's outcome.[Edited on May 4, 2008 at 12:08 AM. I hope this gets more people on the anti Kyle Busch platform.
5/4/2008 10:13:07 AM
^lol. only probably 90% of nascar fans. "junior nation" is finally worth a damn.
5/4/2008 11:47:49 AM
i was wearing my M&M's hat last nite at RIR and i got called a fag after the wreck. i seriously thought someone was gonna try to whoop my ass. it was hilarious seeing sooo many people sooooo angryfor the record, i'm not a fag, i was there with a girl
5/4/2008 12:02:12 PM

^ And notice the crowd cheered. It's not the move that the fans are booing, it's that it was done to Junior. If Junior did the same thing to some other driver, say Jeff Gordon, the crowd would've cheered like there was no tomorrow. This one happened after the checkered flag where Dale Sr. spun Eddie Cheever in the grass.http://youtube.com/watch?v=6x3V5U701jwIn the pit area, Dale Sr. was coming toward Cheever with Cheever strapped in still (Cheever afterward said he thought Earnhardt was going to come deck him and he was trying to get unstrapped out of his car quickly so he could defend himself), but Dale came and gave Cheever a handshake and said, "now that's racing!" ^if i remember correctly, there were examples of earnhardt fans ripping their shirts off because of that move in bristol. I also saw a few middle fingers goin up in that video. And then you gimme an example of IROC in which earnhardt didnt even wreck in?? come on
5/4/2008 3:13:02 PM
Earnhardt made a CAREER off of doing that! And that's why he was the most liked AND most hated driver for years. Notice the cheers in that video? The IROC race just sticks out to me cause Earnhardt shook hands with Cheever after putting him in the grass after the checkered flag, it was a week before Earnhardt's death, and I obviously can't pick from any races from the last 7 years to pick from which are the ones usually on YouTube.[Edited on May 4, 2008 at 3:28 PM. dude this is ALL they are talking about on Wind Tunnel. It broke a record for pre-show 'Fired Up' line calls too. Oh yeah and Dave just called out Dale Sr for doing the same stuff anyway

so who of yall will I see at the all star race in 2 weekends? Anyone ever been? Any advice? We are going up Friday night and staying through the weekend with some unc-c girls. I want to experience a WHOLE race day. We have 8 tickets. Thanks.
5/5/2008 1:07:54 AM
i'll be there. probably going down saturday morning and staying until sunday. have reservations for a tent spot in rock city.
5/5/2008 1:33:22 AM
i'll be there as usual for everything.
5/5/2008 10:10:21 AM
i'm there for the race on sat and for tim mcgraw concert on fri nite
5/5/2008 1:07:00 PM
so tell me a little about it all. I want to experience wherever we can get in and out of. I also want to watch the whole race. I had a chance for pit passes and the intro thing but I thought we wouldn't want those tickets. DUMB move on my part. Still 8 free tickets is sweet.

I was able to go to the Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Sprint Cup practice sessions. Took a lot of photos. I have them in my photo album on my page at myspace. http://www.myspace.com/charliesimages and go to the photos section.
5/7/2008 12:07:12 AM
so who do yall like in this weekend's race? gotta get those Yahoo! picks in by tonight!
5/8/2008 3:44:49 PM
I'll take all the times I've been to Daytona over Charlotte any day. Regardless of whether I'm a "real race fan."
5/8/2008 4:15:20 PM
anybody think Bill Elliot is worth a C-List spot? He's pretty experienced at Darlington, right?
5/8/2008 4:31:37 PM
If by C-list spot you mean lucky to make and/or finish the race, then sure.
5/8/2008 5:57:44 PM
Duh Scrumples, who wouldn't wanna do Daytona over Charlotte? But he didn't ask about Daytona... he wants to know what to look for/expect from Charlotte. You'll have a great time at Charlotte! The atmosphere and the track itself is one of the better tracks!
5/8/2008 6:09:50 PM
Except Daytona is better.
5/8/2008 6:24:18 PM
I've gone to Charlotte twice. Once for the Winston when Michael Waltrip won it and once two years ago for the All-Star race. I think myself and the three people I was with two years ago were the only people within 20 rows any direction in Turn 2.So not much atmosphere when your place is only half-filled.[Edited on May 9, 2008 at 4:13 PM. ^^ It was really empty 2 years ago. I don't remember any bad weather being a factor. Last year, there were more people.I totally forogt about the burnout competition and the pit crew challenge. I've never watched them, I always get there just in time to see the actual race. Maybe this year I'll get there to see that.
5/9/2008 4:50:28 PM
there is going to be a shit ton of wrecks at darlington on sat night with the new pavement and hard tires.my picks in the cup race:1 klye busch2 hamlin3 stewart.4 jr5 jeff gordon
5/9/2008 5:09:36 PM
5/9/2008 5:38:23 PM
would have taken vickers and menarddude dont pick 50 year old drivers off of those othersduh
5/9/2008 7:19:02 PM
You mean don't pick people who have driven the track MANY more times than the young guys? That makes sense, because youth > experience!111111111
5/9/2008 9:33:04 PM
Never talk to me about being a real race fan ever again.Bye.[Edited on May 9, 2008 at 9:52 PM. Reason : that was a really good troll i admit]

1. Jeff Gordon2. Greg Biffle3. Ky. Busch4. Jr.5.Denny Hamlin

am i only one who thinks they should have "fixed" darlington? they could have added progressive banking to create side by side racing like we see at richmond and the new bristol. tradition is great and all but i think tonight is going to be as boring as pocono but with a bunch of cautions for guys slapping the wall too hard.
