64 will be the gold standard I think (kinda like final fantasy 7, golden eye, zelda: ocarina, etc). Although I did like the wii version, especially when everyone used the wheel

I guess I just haven't played the Wii or Gamecube version enough. I'm just so good at the 64 version I hate sucking at the newer ones.

apparently you have to play all courses in Time Trial to unlock Toadette, in Mario Kart Wii

but do you have to do that before you can use Toadette in online multiplayer?

yeah all you guys are wrong except for bubblebobble. the 64 version was the best and is generally considered the benchmark for kart racing games (by those who think with their brains anyway)
