Hey Joel, Im thinking of taking my black steelies with the BF Goodrich MTRs and putting them on the lightweight, and then putting the original boost alloys back on the Discovery with the old Yokohama tires. I might then order some MTR retreads to put on those.

Thoughts?

#1 you dont have boost alloys. i think you have XS alloys

#2 i wouldnt want to try to keep MTRs that I offroaded with balanced on those alloys you have. retreads might be even harder to balance. remember you cant put weights on the outside.

thanks for the offer, I switched my wheels yesterday.... I think I am going to strip the series wheels and put them on the disco. they are narrow and very tall, taller than my MTRs. I hope I can get higher clearance by running these and also some better fuel mileage. Interestingly, the series seems to have an easier time with the MTRs than the older, taller wheels.
