Evtimov would strip the hell out of someone, then the next posession, he would stand there with his hands in the air and bama would just run into him or fall down...some bullshit like that and he got fouls called on him. Like makeup calls for not fouling in the first place.

It sucks when you cant stand your ground with your hands in the air.

This Bama win is going to be so huge come selection/seeding time. Bama will bloat its record with BAD SEC teams, see Ark., Ole Miss, Vandy, etc. This win will be huge!

As someone playing in a church league, that made me laugh.

Another win, though not the best game I've seen (especially officiating).

Bama's big men were a little dissapointing, and their guards were not really there. Thus, we win.

And this one:

That was completely obvious. They called 5 fouls in less than 6 seconds.

yep this is a big win for the Pack's tourney chances.

2-1 Outside the conference and 1-0 within....

Every spot outside about the top 5 is up for grabs this year, lets hope they improve a lot and take advantage of the opportunity.

oh goodness, just figured out why the refs sucked so bad...

Doug Sirmons, Ted Valentine, Tony Greene

Valentine has been one of the shittest refs for quite a while now... He's already made his rounds in the Big Ten and ACC. And of course, Bobby Knight was fined $10,000 for calling Valentine's officiating "the greatest travesty" in his coaching career.

no . . . contact had been made. But they hadn't recieved the inbounds yet. so it still should have taken longer

Ohhh I agree. My post was a little misleading I guess.

They called the fouls before the damn fouls were even made. I was just saying those calls were way obvious and were clearly in Alabama's favor.

i saw a good bit of the game... my biggest concern with the whole thing is that we've just simply got to play a lot better, and soon... or ACC is gonna hurt

for me it was one of those "it was a good game, but it shouldn't have been that close.."

we play fine in man to man, its obviously the zone that gives us problems...tonight Gavin Cam and Ced really stepped up and showed how to break down the zone, that helps ius out ALOTTTTTT now that we see its possible, thats the only thing we needed to really improve on

I love how Bethel and Illian can just break through the 3/4 court press every time

Alabama is a good team, a hostile environment, and one of the top players in the country in Chuck Davis...it was supposed to be a close game

If you couldnt' come away from that game psyched and feeling good about us, you'll never be happy.

We distributed well, shot well, played D well, kept our turnovers down. What the hell else do you want? We utilized Ced well, shot 3's well, and bennerman and grant slashed to the hole to open up the D. And all this against an underrated Bama team with a great player.

Big win for us in a hostile environment and against hostile refs. Congrats guys!

^, ^^, Could not agree more. Probably our best non-conference road win under Herb since he got here. Team faced terrible officiating and still came out on top. They didn't choke at the end. Atsur calmly knocked down the two free throws to clinch it.

^ Well, actually Evtimov nailed his 1st free throw to ice it. Atsur's helped tremendously, but if they would've hit their 3 we'd be in overtime.

Alabama was 1-9 at that point in the game for 3-point range... hitting those 2 free throws practically clinched the game.

if he misses one of those, they pound it inside and probably tie the game (either by hitting the shot, or getting a late foul call)...

The game was clenched when Evtimov hit the free throw, not Atsur.

Atsurs were huge though
