What do y'all think of trading Favre and Priest for LT? Eli's my main QB and Tiki's my other RB.
10/5/2005 11:07:52 AM
HAHAHAHAH NARFEL THE GARTHOK!!!!!!
10/5/2005 11:12:05 AM
if someone is dumb enough to trade lt then you better gank that shit
10/5/2005 11:14:19 AM
yeah no shit
10/5/2005 11:20:47 AM
LT is the BEST fantasy player, so yeah that trade is definitely a good one.TB has had 4 games, his fantasy totals(at least in my league):4, 0, 14, 14So I take that back, he's had 2 good games. But he'll always have Griese throwing to him and he'll be in a run first system. Look for Favre to be throwing much more, he seemed to find a rhythm last game and I expect that to carry into next week's game against NO.The only reason Galloway would be a better pick is because he's the best WR on that team, but I'm waiting for Clayton to come out again this season.

I need ananswer on this now:Culpepper and W. Dunn or L. Jordan (either can be accepted) trade for Houshmanzadeh (sp?) and M.Muhammedby doing this, i would pick up Eli Manning who is available in the league and add R. Droughns or D. Sproles on top of adding the 2 receivers who i need][Edited on October 5, 2005 at 12:19 PM. Reason : dsf][Edited on October 5, 2005 at 12:21 PM. Reason : ghhg][Edited on October 5, 2005 at 12:21 PM. 10/5/2005 12:34:13 PM
well you should have traded Dunn, if you didnt mistake
10/5/2005 1:38:40 PM
i did
10/5/2005 1:39:01 PM
In that week Galloway had 0 he didnt play, and there arent that many recievers that 1) put up 100 yards consistently and 2) Are still available
10/5/2005 1:39:53 PM
oh i picked up Galloway
10/5/2005 1:40:50 PM
10/5/2005 1:42:36 PM
and he is my running back
10/5/2005 1:43:49 PM
2 of 3:Julius Jones against PhillySantana Moss @DenRonnie Brown @Buffalo???
10/5/2005 2:33:58 PM
mossjones
10/5/2005 3:13:18 PM
i agree moss and jonesi just pulled this trade offI get: J. Witten Rod Smith and C. MartinI give: C. Johnson
10/5/2005 3:25:31 PM
I can't get anyone to trade me a QB for one of my RBs... so this will be a weekly problemStart 2 of these:Willie Parker vs. SDJulius Jones vs. PhillyRudi Johnson vs. JAXJamal Lewis vs. Det
10/5/2005 3:30:24 PM
im pondering this tradei have mcnabb/boldin for leftwich/hall
10/5/2005 3:59:04 PM
depends on McNabb's health, although Leftwich is hurting too and by Hall do you mean Dante Hall, Boldin is a solid #2 in Arizona
10/5/2005 4:08:52 PM
hall is a sorry fantasy player...maybe 3 td's a year...he doesn't catch many balls receiving...i wouldn't trade mcnabb for leftwich by any means, or boldin for hall by any means...but if the guy is offering them to you...jump on it quick...if not, don't think about it...
10/5/2005 4:10:32 PM
... as in dante hall??hell no dont do thatmcnabb is the best QB out there
10/5/2005 4:11:57 PM
heres the only reasoning why i'm even somewhat thinking about itmcnabb is injured and while he is playing fine now he could break down come the end of the season, my back up is david carr. carr aint gonna cut it.boldin is lookin very good with multiple 100 yard games and a td however he has josh mccown throwing to him who hasnt exactly been gameworthy in the past (ya he had some td's and put up yards last week, but i mean come on, that was against the 9ers for christ sake)we get points for return yards 25=1 pt. and hall had a 21 point week last week with over 200 total yards and a td, while leftwich is a serviceable quarterbackbasically mcnabb wins me games by himself, but if i feel like he isnt gonna be able to play at this level for the rest of the year then should i trade him??
10/5/2005 4:18:54 PM
mcnabb CAN play hurtkurt warner will be starting soon for arizona...boldin's numbers will go uphall will hardly ever get touchdowns...so 25 return yards per point will kill you when you could have boldinleftwich can play hurt as well...but who would take him over mcnabb?don't make that trade...you will regret it if you do
10/5/2005 4:38:08 PM
saps you would be crazy to trade McNabb and Boldin for Leftwich and HallManning and Heines Ward would be an accurate trade
10/5/2005 5:17:25 PM
trade d. davis for lamont reid? im leaning towards no but still not sure
10/5/2005 5:37:48 PM
whenever you trade (in yahoo leagues) do you have to have the same positions open on your team roster. In other words, if I am trading a QB, RB, & RB in order to receive 2 WR's, do I have to have two open WR spots on my list?I have T. Glenn, R. Smith, D. Driver, S. Moss, & J. GallowayI am getting Houshmanzadeh (sp?) and Moose Muhammad[Edited on October 5, 2005 at 5:44 PM. Reason : Who do I drop?]
10/5/2005 5:40:50 PM
no but you do have to have enough roster space (i.e. you need to drop someone to make that trade)and ya im prolly not making that trade but i was thinkin bout it a little
10/5/2005 6:01:29 PM
who should i drop saps?
10/5/2005 6:02:23 PM
even though housh is the #2 reciever i'd have to say muhamad since he has no one to get him the ball
10/5/2005 6:24:54 PM
I agree
10/5/2005 6:25:46 PM
"i just pulled this trade offI get: J. Witten Rod Smith and C. MartinI give: C. Johnson"Hmmm...interesting trade...Witten: having a low number year with only one good gameSmith: decent yards but only one TDMartin: so far having a horrible year with more fumbles than TD's(1-0)for...Johnson: 2 really good games, 1 decent game, and 1 weak gameChad Johnson has more TD's than the other 3 players combined. He also has a good QB throwing to him and his team is looking solid. With the emergence of Crayton they aren't having to rely as much on Witten. Smith has been getting decent yards, but they are a running team and in the redzone go for the TE's. Martin is on a team whose offense is struggling and all teams are having to do is stack the box, but we'll see what happens with the return of Vinny. And no way should you even consider trading McNabb for Leftwich or Boldin for Hall. McNabb will continue to play and play well. Hall will have flashes of brilliance throughout the season but even with McCown Boldin will have more receptions. And yes trade Culpepper and Dunn, keep Jordan. You should have seen if you could trade Culpepper straight up for Housh. Dunn gets decent numbers and Housh is a hit or miss, doesn't consistently have big games and Muhammad had his big year last year, and as long as they have Orton throwing to him, don't look for a repeat performance.
10/5/2005 8:12:08 PM
warrick dunn vs NE orwillie parker @ SD?sort of leaning towards dunn, as he is more proven and is at home, but he doesn't really get the TDs.yards are rewarded pretty well in our league.
10/6/2005 10:02:42 AM
dunnparker is gonna see his carries drop
10/6/2005 10:31:10 AM
With the return of Bettis and Staley, you'll see Parker start to lose carries and Bettis will get the TD's. So either way you're looking at backs who will split carries, yards, and won't get the TD's.
10/6/2005 11:10:55 AM
dunn is more apt to bust a long one than parker though
10/6/2005 11:33:30 AM
who should I start:D. Foster vs Arizona orF. Taylor vs. CincinnatiandGreg Lewis vs. Dallas orBraylon Edwards vs. Chicago
10/6/2005 11:39:25 AM
10/6/2005 11:46:46 AM
thats what I was thinking, but Lewis hasnt been seeing the ball much this year
10/6/2005 12:03:58 PM
Depends on your league about Foster or Taylor, because S. Davis is going to get the TD's for the Panthers unless Foster breaks a long one and Taylor will be getting the TD's for Jax if they can get that close.Arizona is letting up 110.8 rush yards a game and has allowed 7 rushing TD's.Cincy is letting up 101.0 rush yards a game and has allowed 2 rushing TD's.So I'd go with Foster if you're looking for yards. To the other one...Dallas is allowing 50 more yards in the air than Chicago(given Chicago had a bye) and Dallas is giving up almost twice as many TD's in the air.So I'd go with G. Lewis, considering you have McNabb throwing to him and Orton throwing to Braylon.
10/6/2005 12:04:26 PM
some dude in one of the tdub leagues thinks i am stupidhe offered me marcus fucking robinson for aj smithi offered a counter trade where i gave him charles rogers and antonio bryant for bryan westbrook and ben rothlesberger(sp?)
10/7/2005 12:06:02 AM
who is aj smith? lj smith for philly?
10/7/2005 12:43:31 AM
^^hahain one of our leagues i offered roy williams and someone for westbrook and someone, and of course he declined. the cool part though was that he counter-offered cadillac williams.
10/7/2005 12:51:45 AM
yea lj, dont why i typed ajthe funny thing is he rejected my ridiculous trade but gave me logical reason for it as if he thought i thought he would make that trade:
10/7/2005 9:59:55 AM
is that the same tww league as me?who is in that league i wanna know who to talk shit to
10/7/2005 10:04:09 AM
well my team has 'rwoody' in it in that leaguemy team in the other tdub league is 'my D is impregnable'
10/7/2005 11:21:25 AM
who should i start in my #3 WR spot this week?antonio bryantmike williamsmichael jenkins
10/7/2005 11:35:03 AM
Jenkins Bryant
10/7/2005 12:27:57 PM
Mike Williams will get more looks this week than last week with Rogers being suspended, but at the same time Harrington is staring at a tenacious D in the Baltimore Ravens. So I would refrain from playing him unless I had to.Bryant is also looking at a defense that can be tough in the Bears. The running game will probably get shut down early on so look for Dilfer to go to the air which could mean some looks for Bryant, but it's hard to pick a WR against a tough D if they aren't a top notch WR.Jenkins is ALSO looking at a tough D, but at the same time, a D with a LOT of holes in it. So typically you'd say go with Jenkins, but in Atlanta's offense, it's hard to pick a WR for them since they are so run based.Based on offense:Williams/BryantBased on opposing team:Bryant/JenkinsSo I'd go with Bryant.[Edited on October 7, 2005 at 12:37 PM.
