i'm starting to think these games are scriptedcause they seem to keep repeating themselves over and over like a play
7/20/2005 3:01:25 PM
me (3:38:45 PM): well, we know how the rest of this game plays outme (3:38:53 PM): 3-2 twinsOfficer Cat (3:38:54 PM): extra inningsOfficer Cat (3:39:07 PM): i refuse to believe that the o's are going to lose this series
7/20/2005 3:45:41 PM
dang itthe trade is stalling out
7/22/2005 2:54:05 PM
7/22/2005 11:16:03 PM
wtf? we NEED a pitcher. wtf does getting rid of a pretty good one do in order to get another not so good pitcher do to help that? god DAMN the management is dumb as fuck
7/23/2005 12:13:35 AM
they're considering moving ponson down to long reliever to make room for Burnett in the rotation, since ponson isn't doing all that great this year.. very inconsistent. Of course, this new story about Ponson going to florida through texas means we get something out of texas.. maybe another good bat??
7/23/2005 6:08:53 AM
now we're trading ponson for phil nevin...this still doesn't solve our pitching problems
7/24/2005 9:34:27 AM
7/24/2005 10:12:22 AM
i think ponson would be great in a reliever role.. i doubt he'd be very happy there, but he hasn't earned the right to complain this year.i think the whole thing is going to be a mess for the o's.. i doubt we're going to get burnett
7/24/2005 10:32:36 AM
burnett deal is off.. they say he's gonna test the free-agent market in the off season..the ponson-nevin deal with help the pitching by getting rid of the worst pitchers in the rotation. He is the AL leader in hits allowed, has one of the highest ERAs..Nevin has been injured a lot, but is a powerhouse.. he'll be a great right-handed bat that we need since Sosa can't hit the broadside of a barn. Whether he waives his no-trade clause to the Orioles, is the question.. It'll also open up a lot of money with ponson leaving.. maybe they can deal another trade by the deadline, or work on a prospect..
7/24/2005 1:02:41 PM
honestly, i dont like our chances for the postseason nowshaky confidence, no big trades to get us over the hump, and a team thats sorta stagnant in the field right now.eesh.
7/24/2005 1:10:58 PM
not to mention they're currently tanking the 3rd straight game to one of the shittiest teams in baseball right now
7/24/2005 4:49:12 PM
fucking swept by the devil rays.. wtf??? maybe with lopez back we have a fighting chance to at least win a few games against Texas and Chicago
7/24/2005 4:57:27 PM
i love losing to teams that we have no business losing to...
7/24/2005 10:10:07 PM
7/25/2005 10:42:36 PM
The season is officially over
7/26/2005 9:03:22 AM
Yeah the Rangers finally won one after bending over for the Yankees and A's!!!!
7/26/2005 9:45:04 AM
i ain't ready to throw in the towel yet...the sox have lost enough recently to keep my hopes aliveBUT IT'S SHAAAAAADY
7/26/2005 10:01:42 AM
we need to make a big trade...FOR PITCHERS!!!!i'm kinda glad nevin didn't accept the trade
7/26/2005 1:33:05 PM
7/26/2005 10:09:32 PM
finally...on a bright note...sosa and javy look great...if everybody else gets in prime form we'll be solid without a trade, i still want a pitcher though
7/26/2005 10:23:06 PM
god i hate jorge julio...he sucks...
7/28/2005 12:44:07 AM
GG Raffy for going 0-5, my Astros fantasy team hates you for the night.BTW, 3-run HR gives Texas the lead.[Edited on July 28, 2005 at 12:47 AM. Reason : hahaha]

good newso's just got eric byrnes for bigbiebyrnes can play some d and he can hit...he might help out a bunch
7/29/2005 10:07:44 PM
bad newsOs just dropped yet another game
7/29/2005 10:56:06 PM
still have 70 or so left...
7/29/2005 11:58:39 PM
alright...so we're up 4-2 after big doubles by roberts and the new oriole byrnes on a side note...i don't see anywhere that cabrera was injured and he was taken out after 1.2 innings giving up 1 earned run and 3 strikeouts...i think a trade might have just gone through that isn't public yet. that's pretty early to take out your starter unless he is pitching horrible, injured or told to pack his bags...this is completely speculation by me, but it just seems shady[Edited on July 30, 2005 at 2:57 PM. 7/30/2005 3:16:13 PM
good god i am tired of the o's losing and the yankees winning
7/30/2005 5:09:32 PM
Yankees got some help from the umps today though. Sheff struck out on three separate pitches in his at-bat in the 9th and the umps didn't ring him up. That would've been a HUGE out instead of the walk he supposedly drew.
7/30/2005 5:15:27 PM
yeah i saw that
7/30/2005 5:17:15 PM
im not even gonna waste my time watching games and checking scores anymore this season...they flat out SUCK
7/30/2005 9:15:13 PM

7/31/2005 8:31:54 PM
5-0sox have run through their entire batting order Homer: "Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked."Marge: "Homer, watch your mouth!"Homer: "Uh, I gotta go - my damn wiener kids are listening..."[Edited on July 31, 2005 at 8:41 PM. Reason : nice hit by the traded guy, though]
7/31/2005 8:34:03 PM
yeah i loved byrnes when he was with oakland and he just might be my favorite player in baseball...he leaves it all on the field and i love that.well we got 1 run back
7/31/2005 8:44:12 PM
