What difference does it make if it's a spoiler, really? Multiple regular posters have asked over and over not to discuss the book's plot in this thread, which is a very simple request considering there is a whole other thread.

Difficult: trying to sparse what's considered a spoiler under every circumstance
Easy: just not discussing the books plot at all.

As far as season finales go that was kind of a meh to me. Still better than most things on tv but most of the story lines seemed to hardly get going this season.

Welcome to how everyone felt after books 4/5. Hopefully now that we are all into unknown territory and past the books the show can start getting interesting.

I did enjoy the hilarious bait and switch with Benjen. Book readers were super hyped after the "Previously On" leaked that we were going to get something new about him... then NOPE. Good way to piss off show viewers and book readers.

I'm assuming at this point book spoilers are pretty out the window as the show has passed the books, but this scene was much better in the books. Jon has a nice speech trying to rally everyone to go to Winterfell and you think something positive is going to happen.. then nope.

this show is really hard to watch. i've watched some bleak, depressing shows in my life. The Wire, Top of the Lake, Honorable Woman, breaking bad, etc, but this takes it to a new level. i know there is never going to be a happy ending, but in the entire cast of the show, dany is now the only person worth rooting for on this entire show. next season, any other focus on any other character will just be pointless. why should we care about kings landing anymore? why should we care about the boltons? why should we care about the wildlings? Either Dany's dragons kill the walkers or they dont, who cares about anything else?

What is the point of it all anymore? I feel like they just killed so many story arcs within the span of an episode that we are back to square one. I'm not mad they killed off a big character because we've come to expect that. I'm mad because they are running out of any story lines to give a shit about.

^^basically she gets back from killing homeboy and returns the face to it's spot. then the hater girl catches her and says she knew Arya wasn't ready - that she wasn't ready to give up her identity as Arya Stark and her past (her list of people to kill) the assassin guy agrees. Then he tells her that since she has taken a life that wasn't hers to take (there was no contract out on him) that a debt was owed and you think he's going to give her the vial of fountain water (instant death - the "gift from the many-faced god") he drinks it himself and dies. then Arya freaks out about how he can't die and he was her friend and then she turns around and he's replaced the hater girl (he was apparently her all along?) but he says that the faces (like, literally the faces on the wall like the one she borrowed) can only be worn by those without an identity and that to people who are someone they are "like poison" and then she starts going blind.

Jon Snow can't be dead - there's just no way. Melisandre will resurrect him or he'll warg to Ghost as others have suggested.

Stannis appeared to be looking over Brienne's shoulder. So I wouldn't be surprised if she catches an arrow or something.

Not sure what's going to break Theon/Sansa's fall but I don't see them dying like that either. It was pretty hilarious when Theon tossed that one bitch over the side, though.

I Stannis, theon, and Sansa are alive, it will be a bit shark jumpy. Who is going two save Stannis? The field and forest appeared close to deserted. As for theon and Sansa, they just showed someone dying from that jump. Best case they each have 2 broken legs and are quickly found by the boltons. Seems theon was jumping to die though, why would he risk more torture?

yeah Melisandre told Stannis the snows were melting right before they marched, so it's not like there's a few feet of powder there to break the fall. The other girl hit straight up cobblestone, though.

I think Stannis is dead and Sansa, Theon and Jon Snow will all be alive. After reading the books, I was all aboard the Jon Snow warging into Ghost theory, but Ghost was basically non-existent this season, so I'm not sure if they will go that route.

There was so much going on in that finale, the scene with Cercei is overlooked, it probably should've been in the second to last episode.
