Summary of every episode in this show.

I was hoping Michonne would finish off the Governor, but then I was happy when Maggie did it in revenge for her father...Then i came here and realized it wasn't Maggie. They need to be more careful with their casting
12/2/2013 6:49:07 PM
I as well thought that was Maggie.
12/2/2013 7:08:45 PM
Maggie didnt kill him, it was the mother of the kid he shot in the face. This was a pretty terrible episode. At least the governor is gone now so we wont have to endure that shitty character. And at least the prison is done. Also, apparently walker skulls are paper thin but their bodies can stop automatic weapon fire shot from 15 feet away.[Edited on December 2, 2013 at 7:25 PM. ^ But in a earlier episode one of the cast members grabbed a walker by the leg and all the flesh just pulled off in their hand. Lost 2.0 will continue in February

i'll never understand why people can't just enjoy a great TV show, and relentlessly pick it apart and bash it while continuing to watch it even though they so vehemently dislike it.

I feel like I'm the only person that watches this show that hasn't gotten Lilly confused with Maggie. They're both pretty white girls with dark hair. Is it really that hard to tell the difference between them for y'all? Maybe it's because I watched the Unit so many times, but Audrey Marie Anderson will always be Mrs. Bob Brown to me.
12/2/2013 9:12:22 PM
I haven't gotten them confused but I can see the similarity.I do like the show, I'm just disappointed in some of the really bad missteps with continuity within the world they set up.
12/2/2013 9:20:46 PM
I see the physical similarities in Lily and Maggie, but I did not get them confused. Given that Maggie was inside the fence and firing at the governor from a distance, I would not expect her to show up in the immediate vicinity of the governor and cap him with a pistol.
12/2/2013 9:25:16 PM
How long till we find out it was all just a dream?
12/2/2013 9:31:54 PM
When Lily showed up my first thought was that she looked really similar to Maggie. This is just poor casting. The fact that it actually led to any confusion about who shot Hershel proves that.I was disappointed that they didn't kill off a few more of the prison crew. In the comic it was a slaughter fest with almost everyone getting killed.I think the baby is dead. It died in the comic, it should stay dead in the show too.
12/2/2013 9:42:04 PM
i still think she looks more like andrea than maggie
12/2/2013 10:05:50 PM
ITT people think all white people look alike
12/2/2013 10:11:50 PM
two brunettes with medium length hair have their makeup, hair, and wardrobe done by the same people and they end up looking alike. imagine that.
12/2/2013 10:17:08 PM
I think she looks a little like Maggie too, but there was never any confusion as to who shot the Governor for me.

People complaining about zombie body consistencies...I would imagine it would really have more to do with how long the person has been a zombie. The more recent turn should have more muscle/tissue mass still going versus a long-time walker that would have deteriorated over time.We talked about how much Lilly looked like Maggie on the first episode she showed up, but I never really even considered it was Maggie that killed him. Mainly because I knew how the comics went and because they weren't wearing remotely the same clothes(Maggie was wearing black I believe and Lilly was wearing a white shirt covered in her daughter's blood). That and the fact that we saw Maggie and crew inside the prison gates preparing to run before that scene, would be strange if they were "fleeing" and ran towards the people shooting at them.
12/3/2013 8:13:27 AM
^but at that point the shooting was over.As to using a zombie as a shield, I thought that was pretty dumb. Hell in that scenario I wouldn't be surprised if the bullets would go straight through a human, much less a zombie. (I mean 5 minutes earlier Bob was shot and the bullet went clean through his back)

if you haven't read a 10 year old comic after spending 4 years watching the show it's based on, you're never going to
12/3/2013 9:11:08 AM
im glad that Ty didn't die along with Hershel in the battle,I was totally expecting that, if you know what I mean
I wanna go hunting and watch Rick argue with Abraham every waking moment, that's gonna be sooo much better on TV than the Governor(NOT)
12/3/2013 9:11:58 AM
Putting aside the fact that shit should have been last season's finale, I'm excited for the rest of this season with them all back on the road. What's the rundown on what all the different groups are? My memory didn't keep up...- Glen and a bunch of Woodbury people on the bus- Rick and Carl- Michone and I'm guessing she's got the baby with her- The four brave girls, Maggie, Beth, Bob, Tyrese...this isn't a group I just forget who went with who here
12/3/2013 9:16:39 AM
at Hershel's farm, the fallback assembly place was the freeway, you would think they would have onebut how long does it take you to get there without a vehicle?
12/3/2013 9:20:35 AM
I don't care how long the comics have been out. This thread is for discussing the TV show. This isn't a series where everyone already knows what is going to happen. If you wanna talk about how the comics parallel the TV show start a new thread. Also, why is Tyrese always wearing a beanie? It's hot enough outside where Rick is always covered in sweat.
12/3/2013 10:35:42 AM
12/3/2013 10:39:36 AM
Tyrese is always wearing a beanie because suffers from Adebisi syndrome. He's just in the early stages. Soon, he will get balder, andthe beanie will sslip off the side of his head.

i hate this show. I hate it so much that I will watch it religiously so I can immediately get on the internet and let all the other internet people know how much i hate it.

So the tank was aiming high to keep some of the building intact in case they won. After crashing through a couple of fences and other emplacements aiming high becomes a moot point. As for the other stuff it was entertaining. So for the second half of the season. Tyrese and the girl gang find Carol. He finds out either Carol killed his girlfriend or creepy blonde girl did it. Rick and Carl's journey to the rally point is what we all think it will be, boring with a dash or two of zombies to keep us interested. Rick and Carl make it to the rally point and find Daryl and blonde daughter there. Michonne shows up with bad news about baby Lori. The bus has broken down and those are the rally point need to rescue it from a horde. Tyrese and his harem resolve their differences with Carol and head to the rally point. Everyone left alive meets back up and they head to DC.

Lost Version 2 trolls along. Some of us watch the show in hopes of it getting back to what it once was. I liked lost, I love this.
12/3/2013 2:14:50 PM
LOL at yall that think zombie show follows science. This aint mythbusters.Since when has hollywood followed science/physics anyways? With that said, Lincoln said that this next upcoming part pushes TV norms further than ever before.Looks like they are getting back to the comics storylines.

Pretty much everyone's "I had problems with this..." list is pretty laughable. Glad most of it has been explained. Obviously there were going to be some holes....its a fucking zombie tv show. But I'm going to be a hypocrite for a second and say that my biggest issue was the fact that there were exactly ZERO zombies at the fence when the guvnah and his crew were making their demands. This whole season there have been tons of zombies scraping and pushing themselves up against the fence....and of course there isn't a zombie to be found when a tank and a bunch of cars roll up on the fence.I get that it needed to happen so they could sit there for hours and hash out their differences...but it was the one small thing that annoyed me. Moving on...
12/4/2013 10:26:25 AM
^agreed. I thought the same thing.
12/4/2013 10:34:46 AM
Watching the Talking Dead...Herschel is just as annoying in real life as he is in the show. Am I the only one that is not sad at about his death?? Just spit it out old man!!
12/4/2013 10:51:03 AM
I think the biggest problem with the show is tacky directing and bad dialogue. It was once great in the former and decent in the latter. The opening with The Governor 2 episodes ago was a prime example of overwrought directing. Herschel's death scene was laughably manipulative. The direction of the show makes what is going on look even dumber than it is. I really do not have a problem with zombie shields but the transaction between Rick and The Governor was handled poorly ("I have a tank"). The show delivers on thrills but there is very little substance anymore. It is unrealistic now to think every episode will be like "Clear". I think the main question is why does the show go through so many showrunners? I don't follow it that closely. There is no consistency. On a positive note, they could turn it around. The first half of Season 3 was great. Maybe Dave Doeren can turn it around too.

so who all is injured?Rick is shot and all kinds of fucked up from the governorDrunk Doc got shot through the shoulderi have to be missing people
12/4/2013 1:07:04 PM
I think that's all the injured that were shown. Of course several are still recovering from being sick(such as Glenn). Others might have been grazed or injured, but they weren't main characters or shown on screen.

I think it could be reasonable assumed that the gov and his crew lured anything away from the fence with some sound or something and then killed them all so they could have a spot for talking...it could have happened without the prison people knowing since apparently they were all inside and needed the tank shooting the prison to get their attention
12/5/2013 11:22:24 AM
but they didn't show that! i also find it hard to believe that the governor has never taken a dump.

while we're discussing tv logic, did anyone else facepalm when daryl tossed a grenade in the tank barrel and blew the whole thing up? that just seemed really dumb. how the fuck do they think ammunition gets fired? they make it seem like the barrel is just an open chute right into the cabin of the tank. i don't usually nitpick, but i found that really silly.edit: okay i guess it wasn't that far fetched (http://youtu.be/ndIpj97PA08) although it took these guys 2 grenades - first one blows off breech of the gun, the second sets the turret afire[Edited on December 5, 2013 at 2:47 PM. Also Daryl's grenade didn't "blow the whole thing up". Not even close.
