Passion Pit was easily the biggest surprise at Moogfest 2011. I wasn't even a fan really but went to their show and it ended up being seriously one of the most fun shows I'd been to. They have a ton of energy and get the whole crowd jumping up and dancing the whole time without any breaks at all really. So much fun. And I think the new single is decent enough.

So I guess i saw The Books guy's band Zammuto last night. They were actually really good.

i preferred them over Explosions in the Sky, who headlined.

But I guess that may have been due to outside factors(A bouncer not letting me into the photo pit I was credentialed for and being a weird dick to me for no reason. "Anybody can buy a camera and say they a photographer. Get into all the clubs. I bet I could take better pictures than you.")
